Sales guys (Drake and Conner) at Autonation Toyota were great, easy to work with. Finance team as well was easy to work with. The only issue I had was with the extended warranty salesman. I did 105000 miles check. The person that waited on me was good…I mentioned I needed a low cost bill. He didn’t try to convince me into any speedy maintenance at this time. I had a horrible experience with parts department on 10/13/22. On 10/11/22 I came to buy a touch-up paint for my Highlander. I provided my vin number and asked for the paint touch-up. Next day I disc 10/13/22. On 10/11/22 I came to buy a touch-up paint for my Highlander. I provided my vin number and asked for the paint touch-up. Next day I discovered that they sold me a clear coat instead of paint. I returned back with request for exchange because they sold me the wrong product. The guy who’s later identified as parts department manager put me in a huge argument. He told me that he won’t take it back and I need to buy a paint if needed. I told him that they sold me the wrong item. I wanted to buy a paint, not a clear coat! He said that he won’t take it back and if I need a paint then I need to buy it. Really? I explained again. He did not care and became angry and loud. He threw my clear coat paint hard and hit the wall with it. He started yelling that he can’t do any replacements or returns. I asked to see a manager but he told me with a smirk on his face that he is the manager. This guy not suppose to work and serve customers up there! He doesn’t know about customer service! I did not deserve to have a stress by his fault! I hope that Toyota will do something about this! More
Just had my vehicle services for maintenance required, turns out it was for the replacement of the cabin and engine air filter, service completed (included tire rotation). Notice engine idle was not the as if was prior to service and the vehicle as not running right, brought it back into the dealer today for resolution, it would appear the engineer added 2 - 3 quarts of oil to an already full crank, why he didn’t check the oil Level before hand is beyond me. service manager assisted in getting the truck right in and had 2 engineers check over the truck to see hay could be causing the idle / running problem, drained the oil and the problems appear has been resolved, now I’m dealing with occasional smoke from the excess oil in the catalytic converter and exhaust system to stop. Issue has been documented just in case of future engine issues More
I had an issue with some miscommunication when purchasing my car. However I was able to speak the with general manager who made it right and went above and beyond to mark sure the issue was resolved. The one thing I would say is for the salespeople and finance department to take time with customers and try to resolve issues if possible so it doesn’t have to go to the level where a general manager has to step in. Good service, had a scheduled appointment to check maintenance required message. Only complaint is the amount of time it took for the service( cabin filter replacement and tire rotation), 1.5 hours an maintenance required message.
