Did not tell me what was the issue with my vehicle. Overall poor customer service. Picked up car and had same problem two days later. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. More

To be fair, I've had good experiences with this service department. I brought my Prius in for routine check and maintenance. I had scheduled a 9:45 am appointment and was told by my rep that it would be 2 department. I brought my Prius in for routine check and maintenance. I had scheduled a 9:45 am appointment and was told by my rep that it would be 2-3 hours so I decided to stay and wait. Around noon, I asked how much longer it would be and if they had deduced any issues. I was told that it would be another 45-60 minutes until they'd be able to look at it. I ended up being there until about 4 PM, having had nothing to eat except a bagel around 9 am. It's unacceptable to keep people waiting that long, especially with no shuttle service to take them elsewhere if the work time is going to be ALL DAY. My rep tried to assuage the situation with a free oil change and while I did appreciate that, it didn't really help as ultimately, it was a waste of a day for me. You need to do a better job of setting expectations and be clear when defining what that wait time is all about. More
