The reason is the people in the service department, specifically, Greg Coy. I have dealt with him since he was 18 years old and drove the courtesy van for what was then Apple Toyota. He has been there through ownership by Apple, Champion, Red McCombs and now AutoNation. The guys in service are why I come back. More

I purchased a used car from another dealership in their AutoNation network, which was to be transferred to Toyota South Austin. They promised the car would be delivered in approximately 1 week. I checked in with the salesman every 4 days or so to ask for status updates for the next 3 weeks - every time I contacted him, he became increasingly more hostile and indignant. How rude of me to ask the status of the delivery for a car I had already paid for. I asked for a manager several times but was denied. I finally found the contact information for the head manager, and only at that point did the used sales manager reach out. The manager was more helpful and the car was finally delivered 2 weeks later. The car needed an oil change and other minor maintenance work done, that the dealer refused to do, so I had to pay for the service myself. This was an absolutely abysmal experience and I wish I had bought from any other dealer. More

Jared Jones lacks communication. Waited on an oil change for 6 hours. After 3 hours of waiting, I approached him because he never even told me what needed to be done on the car. After he quoted me one price, he listed me a whole different price (double than what he told me) at checkout. Seriously will take my business elsewhere! More
The wait is insane. ..you'd think when you are just coming in to pick up a vehicle and pay cash for it, it would take a minute.
