The communications from the dealer concerning the status of the vehicle delivery was inconsistent. Specifically, I had to reach out to the sales agent on my own to get updates. More than once I requested an update and got no response back requiring a follow-up to the initial request for an update. Not very professional or customer friendly care. It was also apparent that the communications between the factory and the dealer is not very accurate because I as the buyer received updates that were in conflict with prior progress status provided. In one case I was told via text message the vehicle was received at the dealership only to find out later that it was received at the port. Some of this I suspect is due to the supply chain issues associated with post pandemic environment and Toyota's internal delivery status system. I also felt as a customer that the sales agent was not fully engaged in looking out for my needs as a customer. Honestly if it were not for my positive past experience with Toyota products and the fact that in the current environment it is difficult to find new vehicles, I would have seriously walked and purchased from a competing dealer or manufacturer. Nate did a great job helping us find exactly the used car we were looking for and the process was smooth. No complaints there. After that, I waited almost two hours for "financing" although I was paying c we were looking for and the process was smooth. No complaints there.
