Stay Away from Service Department I use to Love this place before the new Service Manager. (Joe "bald guy") came and changed everything. I have owned 3 Toyota Vehicles in the last 11 years, all my vehicles have always been serviced at Toyota Mall of GA. I had always received excelllent service. When the store changed ownership and became AUTONATION everything went downhill. They hired a new mananger (Joe) who doesn't treat the customers or employees with respect. I have seen a big turnaround in the employees they can't seem to keep them. The customer service here is bad and it's not the advisors fault, it's the Managers fault they have gone away with the cashiers to save some money and have given the advisors the job to check us out. Now we have to wait a lot longer to pay and to check in because of this. This dealership is going to loose many loyal customers. I will not come back unless they start making changes. More
Took much longer to get a simple oil change done, plus I arrived at 3pm for the oil change, which normally took about 45 minutes. But this time it took one hour and half. At the end I was presented an invoice which is $20 more than what we discussed at the beginning of the service. They later corrected the wrong price. Further, they offered me a free car wash before the work, but they forgot to do so, so I had to ask again for the car wash. it took another 30 minutes. ................... More
Horrible service experiment!!!!!! I was there on Aug 22nd, 2016 for oil change and diagnostic testing. Waited more than two hours, and they did not get any job done on my truck. I deci I was there on Aug 22nd, 2016 for oil change and diagnostic testing. Waited more than two hours, and they did not get any job done on my truck. I decided to get my truck back and not go back there anymore! They can't even do the easiest job like oil change and diagnostics. They used to be good, but I'm not going back there!!!!!!!!! I can not believe that their new manager didn't bother to apologize. I really don't know, may be they are changing their system of doing business with people! More

They called me after 2 hours of This dealer is very busy, but when I called on a Thursday afternoon with no AC they said I could drop it off any time. They called me after 2 hours of dropping it off with what the problem was. They had to order the part and said it would ready by the end of Friday. They called me at around 11AM on Friday saying it was all set. Overall for my first experience I was pleased. More
Brought my car into this dealership years ago. Car was totaled years ago. They send junk mail to me once a week. I have contacted them several times requesting to be removed. They refuse. This is how totaled years ago. They send junk mail to me once a week. I have contacted them several times requesting to be removed. They refuse. This is how this dealership does business. They have to harass people with junk mail. I would never buy a vehicle from here or ever take a car in for service to this dealership. More
Service department was just very unorganized which made it very stressful. Then of course you go in for one small thing and they "recommend" about $1,000 in additional work. It would be much easier if th it very stressful. Then of course you go in for one small thing and they "recommend" about $1,000 in additional work. It would be much easier if the service advisors didn't work on commission. Before we even got out of the car someone was trying to get us to have our windshield replaced - all because it had one tiny crack in the very top corner. (This has been there for 2 years and no problems.) He was very persistent. It was just a very stressful process. I think that we will take our car to Honda in the future for service. I definitely will not buy another Toyota. More
We purchased a new fully loaded Toyota Camry in October 2011 and have had a big problem with a mildew smell from about the 6 month mark. The first time we encountered the problem with discussed it with th 2011 and have had a big problem with a mildew smell from about the 6 month mark. The first time we encountered the problem with discussed it with the dealership and they sprayed some air neutralizer into the air conditioner air induction system. This "Band-Aid" fix lasted about 2 days and the mildew odor came back. Next, they suggested spraying Lysol into the air conditioner air induction system. After being given the run around and quick fixes for 6 months a Toyota service technician admitted there is a problem with the evaporator plate collecting condensation. It was then, we were told the problem was not under warranty and that we would have to pay to fix it; which would still only be a temporary fix. Apparently, the evaporator plate doesn’t effectively drain the water condensation built up from running the recalculated air option. Thus causing the mold and mildew to grow and develop inside the air conditioning system. At one point the mold and mildew odor was so bad that we rolled down the windows in 30 degree weather to be able to breathe. In addition, one of our close friends purchased the same model Camry about 6 months ago and she already has the same strong mildew odor. This is my third Toyota, however due to the fact that Toyota refuses to stand behind their product, I will never purchase another one again. We are also offering free rides to anyone who wants to embrace themselves in a mildew funk. More
This dealership will be my pick when we go shopping for a new car. I was more than impressed with the friendly, professional handling of my RAV4's body repair. The car is now like new and was finished days new car. I was more than impressed with the friendly, professional handling of my RAV4's body repair. The car is now like new and was finished days before other estimates had promised. I could not be more pleased. I came to the dealership initially because Rusty Gentry worked there. I had learned to respect and trust him when we purchased our new RAV4 at a different dealership. Now that Rusty has relocated at the Mall of GA dealership..... I decided to follow a man I had faith in. Their collision center is a place I would take my car for the first estimate from now on. Rick Eves is an excellent manager. You have a customer for life. Thanks. More
I took my wife's 4 Runner in to get looked at because the check engine light was on. Bill Ezell-assist service manager, told me it was the catalytic converter and the price tag was about $1000 but he'll give check engine light was on. Bill Ezell-assist service manager, told me it was the catalytic converter and the price tag was about $1000 but he'll give me a 10% discount. I told him to fix it because my back was against the wall, the car failed emissions because of the check engine light. So, he calls me 5 hours later to tell me that his tech could not get a "piece" he needed off of the old converter to put on the new one and in trying to remove it he stripped it. Bill told me the additional cost about be about $100(almost the exact amount of the discount he offered). I asked him why am I responsible for your tech stripping the "piece" and why are you using an old "piece" for a new converter. His response, "These things happen." So, after a 10 minute or so back and forth I told him to go ahead. He calls me later to tell me that the car was ready, I asked him if my wife had mentioned the brakes. His response,"Oh, I forgot! Tell her to bring it back tomorrow and I'll check them for her." We had recently had pads put on at the MOG Toyota and the brakes were making noise when stopping so my wife and I were sure that the problem was minor and Mall of Georgia Toyota would take care of it. My wife waited nearly an hour for her keys and when she came home and I looked at the receipt, the 10% discount was not applied. I called Bill to ask him why the discount was not applied and his response, "Oh I'm sorry, I forgot!" ***I am NOT making this up!*** He said he would refund my card. The next day it just gets worst. My wife brings the car back, after about 6 hours of know word I call Bill to ask if my wife's car was ready and he said, "one of the rotors are bad." The price tag is about $150.00. Take the car home and it's making a very distinct humming noise. It's the holiday season and my wife and I are very busy so we did not have time to take the car back for about two weeks. Take the car back and they say it's the rear axle...price tag about $1800.00. I spoke with Timmy Acklin-Service manager and he was very rude and unprofessional! I admit I was very upset about how they were bleeding me with the repairs and he said, "I'm not gonna sit here and argue wit you!" I said that an argument takes at least two people and he should not say a word but listen...I am a dissatisfied customer and he should listen to my concerns instead of trying to talk over me. I spoke with his boss Dave fletcher and he was very professional and he did listen but said he could do the job for $1400.00, which is not a deal at all. My final thoughts...I am getting robbed! My car was not making the noise for over 100,000 miles, we drop it off and 6 hours later we hear a noise and they are taking no responsibility. I think that Mall of Georgia Toyota are dishonest people that are overcharging. I think that they fix the original problem and break something else so you'll bring your car back. This is what I think but how can I prove it! Do not go to this place for anything! More
