I had found my 2019 vehicle on line but when I showed it to the salesperson, they tried to sell the vehicle to me for $8000 more. They then claimed that they hadn’t seen what I showed them. I did end up paying the advertised price in the end after a few more misunderstandings. I drive up there now for the excellent service I get from Shannon Wread who had been my representative at Stone Mountain Toyota for a very long time. I have been well pleased with the service team and their concerns for my 2019 vehicle and will continue making the long drive for service and repairs as a result. I also enjoyed a wonderful experience with Charles in being shuttled. He was able to both drop me off and pick me up from a restaurant so I could eat comfortably while I waited for my service to be completed. More
Had a very good experience buying out my lease from Toyota. We got the price right and it was a fairly easy process. Brought our 2013 Highlander in for a fix on back hatch that was not opening smoothly then would not stay open. Dropped the car off for an early appointment @ 7:30am on Monday, received an automative text that was not opening smoothly then would not stay open. Dropped the car off for an early appointment @ 7:30am on Monday, received an automative text it was checked in right at 7:30am. Got a follow up email from Shannon telling us about the diagnostic fee and also that they would be contacting our warranty company for payment. Did not hear from Shannon until I texted them at 11:45am over 2 days later. They got the part approved and order and I was told it'd be in the next day. I waited again the next day for any type of communication or status text. Nothing, I texted Shannon again around noon, no response. Finally at 3pm I had to call the dealership to get a status. I was told that Shannon did not come in that day and that the paperwork for the replacement part was still on their desk and they will call me in the morning. Not acceptable because my husband needed the car to go out of town that evening. Why did they had my car since Monday @ 7:30am and for some reason still had not gotten to it besides a diagnostic test, for 4 days? I finally had a manager of the service department call me back and like a Christmas miracle my car was fixed and ready with in an hour. I was out of a car for over 4 days, basically for no reason now I know as my car just sat in the parking lot. I was so frustrated and irritated that no one communicated with me, at all. I can understand it was the week before Christmas and things happen to peoples work schedule, but to not even let me know anything unless I reached out is not alright and terrible customer service. For this reason I will no longer be servicing my car here. More
