My initial buying experience was very good. It was my first time purchasing a car on my own and my sales consultant was very patient and took extra time to explain things to me. He was friendly, not push first time purchasing a car on my own and my sales consultant was very patient and took extra time to explain things to me. He was friendly, not pushy at all, and helpful. I had been to several other car dealerships before I came to Team Toyota and had experienced very aggressive sales people which I did not appreciate. Additionally my finance manager, was very helpful. He also explained all the products to me and walked me through the finance procedures. I purchased the extended warranty and gap insurance. He also threw in oil changes and roadside assistance for me. After my first experience, the quality of my service went down dramatically. I have made 4 additional trips to the dealership which is an hour from my home each way. The first trip was the result of some questions regarding finance decisions. I wanted to change my financing through a credit union and needed a 15 day pay off letter. I tried calling before I came but couldn't speak to anyone at the time. I came back to the dealership 3 business days after my purchase and spoke with another person my finance manger wasn't in. No one seemed to know anything about a 15 day payoff letter. Additionally, I had not been told which lender my loan was through. After I found out which lender it was through, I was told that I would have to wait until my loan had been processed through that company, which could take up to 30 days and then obtain the payoff letter from them. Since my loan hadn't even gone through with Alphera, I don't know why I couldn't have changed my financing to the credit union. I was being given conflicting information from 3 different parties, the dealership, lending institution, and credit union. Needless to day I was very frustrated. At this time I also realized I was only given 1 key with the vehicle. They had order one for me and told me I would have to come back in a week or so and have it programmed. I returned in a week and had the key programed, making it my second trip back. My third trip was the result of my tag not be processed in time. I returned again to pick up my temporary tag. Later I learned my tag was ready and went to my local tag office to discover that the emissions had not been completed. I called the dealership and they informed me that I could be reimbursed if I came in and submitted my receipt. I am not sure why a certified pre-owned car was sold to me without the emissions being completed. In fact, it is illegal it Atlanta per DNR Rule 391-3-20-.18(1,) , and I am filing a complaint. Meanwhile, I had completed the process of 'refinancing' my loan through my credit union. I wanted to cancel my gap insurance that I purchased initially as the credit union offered me the same coverage for $300 less. I was told I would have to come in and cancel this as well. So today, I made my fourth trip to the dealership. I submitted my receipt for the emissions and was given the impression that I would be issued my reimbursement on the same day, however, this was not the case. I received the check 3 weeks later. I was able to see my finance manager again and cancel my gap insurance. He was helpful, but I think both of these tasks could have been completed without my having to drive an hour each way to the dealership. I could have mailed in the receipt, or scanned and emailed it to the appropriate party. Since they were mailing it back to me anyway, I don't see why I needed to come in for this. I also could have signed a cancelation notice for the gap insurance and faxed/ emailed it back. I have spent 8 hours now driving back and forth to the dealership for unnecessary trips. Needless to say, my post sales experience has left a lot to be desired. I am still waiting for my reimbursement for my gap insurance. More

They start their negotiations out at some ridiculously high figure and won't come down without a battle. In order to get a fair price, you have to do your pricing homework ahead of time, be a firm negotiator and play the game by leaving a few times. I did not do this and upon doing some research afterwards, I figure I overpaid by at least $1,500. They are also not at all up front about their $599 "Document Fee" which is nothing more than a hidden add-on to the price that they bury in the numbers hoping that you won't notice. So they start out with $599 in profit if they sold the car at what they paid for it. More
We recently had a great experience purchasing a new 4Runner. We handled all the initial conversations online and came into the dealership to meet the sales team. They matched the TrueCar pricing that had been quoted and were able to locate the exact 4Runner we wanted. They had it delivered and ready to go the following day. We will definitely be making future car purchases with Team Toyota. More
I purchased a used car from a salesman named ash. He lied about the carfax and would not show me a hard copy. He told me it had not been wrecked and I have to sell it. I lost $8000 and only owned it 10 mon about the carfax and would not show me a hard copy. He told me it had not been wrecked and I have to sell it. I lost $8000 and only owned it 10 months. I bought it because of resale value because i was only able to drive a year. He lied about the car fax.. He also said he would fix damage on the dash and give me floor mats. He didn't. I would not have bought the car if it was wrecked before and had a low wholesale value . But then the General Manager told me I was stupid if i purchased a car for an investment? He Called me stupid? He also said a carfax means nothing and it had nothing to do with the sale. Buyer beware!!! Typical used car sales.. I will never go back. More
My experience buying a new car was very painless. Willie made me feel like I was someone special without being fake. No games were played by anyone I dealt with. We met with Joe, an internet sales manager at Team Toyota Mall of Georgia over other internet sales managers because he was quick and responsive with his emails. When we go to the dealership, we were a litt Mall of Georgia over other internet sales managers because he was quick and responsive with his emails. When we go to the dealership, we were a little early, but Joe was quick to be available and take us on our test drive. We had already done our research and knew exactly which car we wanted to get, so we our time was mostly spent on getting the price that was guaranteed to us via consumer reports' guaranteed savings certificate via truecar. Joe was very friendly and courteous to us. I was with my parents who didn't speak English, and he went out of his way to acknowledge them and thank them even though they couldn't interact out much with him outside of negotiations. Overall, the experience was great and the price was great compared to other dealers who gave out quotes in the greater Atlanta area. Our experience with Joe was top notch and would gladly recommend that you seek him out personally. Alan handled our paperwork efficiently and got us out the door with the price that was negotiated with Joe. No hassles. No gimmicks. Efficient transaction. More
Service department was just very unorganized which made it very stressful. Then of course you go in for one small thing and they "recommend" about $1,000 in additional work. It would be much easier if th it very stressful. Then of course you go in for one small thing and they "recommend" about $1,000 in additional work. It would be much easier if the service advisors didn't work on commission. Before we even got out of the car someone was trying to get us to have our windshield replaced - all because it had one tiny crack in the very top corner. (This has been there for 2 years and no problems.) He was very persistent. It was just a very stressful process. I think that we will take our car to Honda in the future for service. I definitely will not buy another Toyota. More
