Arrived a bit early for my appointment. Very nice and registered my car immediately. So, I waited and waited and waited. After waiting 1 1/2 after my appointment time, I went to desk. The Toyota rep said registered my car immediately. So, I waited and waited and waited. After waiting 1 1/2 after my appointment time, I went to desk. The Toyota rep said “yes” your card is done. I bought 2 new cars here. I sent my son after set an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. Bill came out over $750.00. What???????? Service dept did 30k miles maintenance without get permission. Manager (?) Verina came to my son and mentioned my car is over 30k miles. And my son answered "yes, it is" She did not ask if my son wants to do 30k miles maintenance. Later, she explained that she thought my son wanted to do 30 k mile maintenance work. What would you feel when you get $750.00 bill after oil change and tire rotation. This place does not have service manual. It is general step that service dept explain what cover 30 k mil maintenance schedule and cost with customers agreement., But she skipped all step and excused this happens often. She promised that she would give discount on next service but didn't say how much... I expect Autonation refund me half of the bill since they made mistake. This is not honest mistake but rip off. Not a good place to trust. More

I purchased my toyota tacoma in 2009 from this dealership (Libertyville) and have always brought it there for service and have been very pleased...except for my last experience on 7/20/2021. I made an appoi (Libertyville) and have always brought it there for service and have been very pleased...except for my last experience on 7/20/2021. I made an appointment a week earlier for an oil change. When I arrived I was informed that they were short handed and it would be about 1 hour and 15 min....no problem. I watched as customers arrived after me and called before me, after 1 hour and 45 minutes I approached Robert Pollak (service advisor) and he said other customers had appointments, and that my appointment wasn't with the service tech it was with him (??). I walked away and went to the new car dept and spoke to CJ. He checked and said to take a seat and Robert will be out to talk to me. He walked by me several times and gave me a dirty look each time. After 15 minutes I spoke to CJ again and then Robert called me after 2 hours said my truck was ready, I paid and went to the porter. The porter checked the invoice, got keys and just hit my key fob and pointed to where my truck was parked in the lot. When I arrived at my car I noticed that the car was not washed and there was oily handprints on driver door, hood and INSIDE on door handle which got on me. I drove to the new car dept again and talked to CJ and other employees. They looked at my truck and said it was unacceptable and they apologized would have it washed and they also filled my gas tank. After about 3 hours later and a horrific experience, I finally was able to leave.....but I don't think I will ever go back. Thank goodness for CJ and the new car dept, otherwise I might still be there waiting for my oil change. More

Did not change oil but changed service sticker Made appointment for oil change, check for a trip and recondition headlight lens and a wash. When I arrived the service writer (Nick Walsh) was more interested in selling me injector cleaner, throttle plate cleaning and brake fluid flush rather than what I wanted. I waited for 90 minutes supposedly for the tech to check my car for the trip and clean up the headlight lens, the tech never changed my oil but did change my service sticker adding 5 months and 5,000 miles to my current oil. They did not charge me for the oil change which was my first clue of the poor service. When I spoke to the service manager (Joe) he said he revived my records and I was not due for an oil change, I asked then why did you change my service sticker? Then he went into what service intervals Toyota recommends, I politely told him Toyota does not own my car I do. Rob W. More
