We had an appointment at 9:45 AM on Monday, August 9th at Toyota Libertyville. After confurring with our service advisor Keven regarding our service needs, which included an oil change, rear break job, tire Toyota Libertyville. After confurring with our service advisor Keven regarding our service needs, which included an oil change, rear break job, tire pressure sensor replacement and windshield wiper replacement, we were given an estimate of approximately 2.5 hours to complete. After multiple follow-up calls (initiated by us) and in-person check-ins, the repairs were finally completed six (6) hours later. Approximately 20 minutes after departing the Toyota Libertyville service facility, we were shocked and dismayed to see the low tire pressure indicator illuminate on our dashboard. We were en route out-of-state and had other commitments (some of which we were forced to cancel due to the extremely long repair time). We are unable to return to Toyota Libertyville to resolve this situation, which should have been detected and resolved in the 6 hours that Toyota Libertyville had our car in for service. We immediately contacted Kevin and requested a refund for the faulty parts and labor charged to our credit card. He refused, but stated that his manager would contact us immediately to work out a solution. To date, we have received no communication from Toyota Libertyville to provide an acceptable resolution to this issue. While we understand many business are shorthanded these days, Toyota Libertyville completely failed to provide realistic service expectations or proactive updates regarding the repair delay we experienced. Furthermore, they failed to accept accountability for the shortcomings of their service and commitment to customer satisfaction. More

Everyone is pleasant, but there is ZERO respect for customers time/money. Every visit they vastly underestimate the time and money required. I’m told something would take 2 hours and it takes 4. Arrived a bit early for my appointment. Very nice and registered my car immediately. So, I waited and waited and waited. After waiting 1 1/2 after my appointment time, I went to desk. The Toyota rep said registered my car immediately. So, I waited and waited and waited. After waiting 1 1/2 after my appointment time, I went to desk. The Toyota rep said “yes” your card is done. I looked on service ticket and it had been done for 25 minutes! More
I bought 2 new cars here. I sent my son after set an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. Bill came out over $750.00. What???????? And my son answered "yes, it is" She did not ask if my son wants to do 30k miles maintenance. Later, she explained that she thought my son wanted to do 30 k mile maintenance work. What would you feel when you get $750.00 bill after oil change and tire rotation. This place does not have service manual. It is general step that service dept explain what cover 30 k mil maintenance schedule and cost with customers agreement., But she skipped all step and excused this happens often. She promised that she would give discount on next service but didn't say how much... I expect Autonation refund me half of the bill since they made mistake. This is not honest mistake but rip off. Not a good place to trust. More
