My recent visit was to have tire rotation and a basic check of systems. Everything was completed in an hour, including a complimentary exterior wash! Good job! check of systems. Everything was completed in an hour, including a complimentary exterior wash! Good job! More
I usually use this dealership for the device. Recently when I went there for oil change I end up paying close to $500 for the services that I did not request. They even left the old oil change sticker on when I went there for oil change I end up paying close to $500 for the services that I did not request. They even left the old oil change sticker on the window. This probably be the last time I will use this dealership for the service. Ask before you sign the paperwork. More
Thiefs! They steal money out of your car and blame it on you saying you misplaced it. Total xxxxers. I am 100% certain I had $30 in the small compartment near my steering wheel, when I got my car back after you saying you misplaced it. Total xxxxers. I am 100% certain I had $30 in the small compartment near my steering wheel, when I got my car back after spending $2000+ (probably ripped off), I checked that compartment and my $30 was gone. I immediately went to the service guy and told him. He told me their mechanics would not steal anything which is xxxxxxxx. I said they did steal it and to either give me my money back or take $30 off my bill. He refused to and told me I must have misplaced it and sent me on my way. I will never go here again. Horrible people…. Just horrible. Never had this problem with any other Toyota dealership. Can’t believe $30 to them was worth a bad review. Horrible people....just horrible. More
I dont even know where to start, being it I was/am very disappointed with the service department ALL together! From Robert the service advisor as well as the service manager. Brought in my highlander due t disappointed with the service department ALL together! From Robert the service advisor as well as the service manager. Brought in my highlander due to a saturated carpet on the 2nd row, they tested for leaks/clogs. Issue unresolved and was told I needed to pay $1800! To lift the carpet and address the saturation. The issue escalated into asking to speak with the service manager on duty. Dont go well at all as he was awful to deal with. After some pointless chatter and obviously did not offer any other resolution than to cough up $1800 to address the issue?! I finally said enough and jist eagerly wanted to leave with my highlander. Uses he did shave off the diagnostic fee from $190 to $95 only after telling him I refuse to pay that fee plus the advisor told me it was $100 for diagnosis. Long story short, I left the dealership very upset and stated I will NEVER return to that dealer for any future service! What a shame! After purchasing, trading in a previous vehicle and selling my other car to the dealer, this is how its going to end! To be honest, I have had much better experience servicing my Toyota highlander at Schaumburg Toyota! What a difference the overall experience is over there. Thank for nothing AutoNation Toyota Libertyville! You lost a customer!! Good luck with the BS to other unhappy customers!!! I was charged $215 per hour for labor. When asked they said their rate is $160 for labor but it didn’t apply because it’s “menu pricing”. It’s price gouging, plain and simple. My car was at the dealer f said their rate is $160 for labor but it didn’t apply because it’s “menu pricing”. It’s price gouging, plain and simple. My car was at the dealer for just over an hour and a half (106 minutes based on our texts from start to finish) and my bill is over $500. Walking out, I spoke with another customer who had the exact same experience. I bought my car here, but now I have to find an honest place to take my car to be serviced. DON’T LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU LIKE THEY DID TO ME! More
I made an appointment to have my oil changed and was told it would take about an hour and 20 minutes. After an hour and half, I checked on the status and the service rep stated he would find out. Never heard it would take about an hour and 20 minutes. After an hour and half, I checked on the status and the service rep stated he would find out. Never heard anything and went back after 2 hours to find out my car had not even been brought into a bay! I understand that they were short handed and I would have had no issue if I was told that upfront and could have rescheduled to another day. The manager and service rep were incapable of actually managing their employees yet alone customer expectations. I spoke with the service manager which showed no empathy. I will never use their service again which I had been utilizing since I moved here in 2004. More
Going to start off by noting that I’ve been a happy customer of Libertyville Toyota for nearly 20 years but sadly things have taken a turn for the worse. The customer service has been less than ste customer of Libertyville Toyota for nearly 20 years but sadly things have taken a turn for the worse. The customer service has been less than stellar as of late and it all started when I picked up my car with a low tire pressure light ON after spending about $1700 in services. I’ve never experienced that before. I mean, how can a dealership give you a car back with a warning light on? Then after dropping the car off shortly thereafter because it had pulling hard to the left I received word that service has test driven the car and found it wasn’t pulling. So I end up taking the service guy for a ride and he’s like, wow it’s really pulling. I mean, like xxx. He tells me I need new tires and with the balancing that comes with it that it will fix the issue. $600 later and guess what, the car still pulls left. They also left a wire sticking out in the back just below the window. It’s not just attention to details from a service standpoint, but I walked in to pick up my car after another service appointment and there are three people typing at their computers yet not one even looks up to say “hi, we will be with you in a minute.” It’s like I didn’t exist and that really was bad. Even more, I was standing there and watched one of the sales reps take an invoice a customer signed and toss it across the room by the printer. Just unprofessional especially with customers right there. More
