After getting an oil change I had ti return he next day they never reset the notice on the dashboard and I was worried that they did not change my oil because it still said oil service required. I had a scheduled appointment for 5k miles maintenance on a vehicle with 5,770 miles and the tech checked off all fluids checked and ok 9 days later low oil warning checked level very low. Called dealership was told 5k maintenance is tire rotation and when I inquired why the tech indicated all fluids ok he got hostile and kept repeating tire rotation only. Confirmed with another Toyota Service Department no under carriage damage to cause oil loss. Avoid Auto Nation Libertyville Service Department unless you want to replace and engine. More
It was my first time for service at this location and 5 hours later for oil change and brakes. Not sure what’s a good time frame. I am so disappointed in this dealership's integrity of the serviced department. I used to trust them. When I took my car in for routine maintenance I was lead to believe that all the procedures they were the serviced department. I used to trust them. When I took my car in for routine maintenance I was lead to believe that all the procedures they were suggesting were as recommended by Toyota. I became suspicious afterwards and investigated . I found out that I waisted $300 dollars on unnecessary services. An honest dealership would clearly delineate services recommended by the manufacturer's "maintenance guide" from those recommended by someone else. If something isn't done to make this better I will be looking else ware for sales and service. I also intend to inform Toyota how they are being misrepresented by this dealer. More
