I had a car battery situation yesterday with my 2012 Camry. It left me stuck at a restaurant in Wauconda. I phoned Toyota and the young man had me try certain things that might help me start the car Camry. It left me stuck at a restaurant in Wauconda. I phoned Toyota and the young man had me try certain things that might help me start the car and narrowed the problem down to a possible dead battery. He then suggested I have the battery jumped and then drive to Toyota. My son-in-law drove to me and got me going. Upon arriving in Libertyville, Ron immediately met me and asked if he could help me. After investigating my history of my car, he said the battery had some life left but, it was 4 years old. He said I had the option of continuing to drive it or, get it replaced. I chose the latter option and thanks to all the help I received along the way, I'm back in business. Professional, courteous, helpful as always at Toyota in Libertyville. More

The service was excellent and my service rep was very helpful. However, the dealership itself was in need of repairs. The car wash was broken so I could not get a free carwash. I like that the service department seems to run quite efficiently so most of the time I can just wait for the car in their spacious and clean waiting area. I've been a happy customer since 1988. My usual service writer retired, and things changed. Still, once you can get through to a service writer, all goes well. The dealership's answering service 1) knows nothing about your car and can't answer questions 2) never had the requested competent service writer call me back. Specific scheduling via their website isn't any better. I stopped by, spoke to an actual person, got my questions answered and service scheduled - just like I once could over the phone. Be sure to get the direct number to your service writer when you are there, and in the future, you can speak directly or leave messages directly. All that said, the dealership does an excellent job keeping my vehicles running. AND I appreciate being able to stop in for free fluid top-offs and air pressure adjustments. More
