The service at Libertyville Toyota use to be pretty good but my last visit was terrible. The service advisor Jesse O’Connor was truly rude and unprofessional. I went in for an oil change and they was trying to tell me that my tires and all 4 struts were bad. I was trying to ask Jesse why some of the issues with my car was a problem since their auto shop had replaced the tires and a strut about a year ago and he was not giving me a definitive answer.. I asked if the tires were a defect and if so then they needed to be replaced free of charge. Jesse clearly got upset with all my questions and stated my car was ready from the oil change as if to say he was not going to engage in my questions and he didn’t. They also said I got the complimentary car wash but based on the dirt marks on my car door from the service technician, I could clearly see that my car wasn’t washed. My steering wheel was also full of black oil when they finished my oil change which is something that has never happened in the past. I gave this review 3 stars because all my other visits were pretty good but it is quickly declining since my last visit was a 0. More

I was disappointed in their pushy, high-pressure sales tactics from the financial end to add on a bunch of services that I repeatedly refused to opt for. I ended up giving in to some of them just to get out of there and get on with my life. This part of the dealership experience really sucked... The salesmen were a pleasure to work with and while not overly knowledgable about the brand new 2023 Prius, they were pleasant and kept me informed about the availability of our car regularly. More
I scheduled a 60000 service appointment at that toyota auto haus in libertyville. I have the extended service plan and the service provider tells me that there is another $1000 in service not includes in auto haus in libertyville. I have the extended service plan and the service provider tells me that there is another $1000 in service not includes in the plan that I should do. I stated I wanted to wait. Car was being worked and then they tell me there is a pcv valve that needs to be replaced. I asked them to wait on that as well. I then left and about an hour later my car dies in the middle of the road. I attempt multiple times for many hours to get a hold of the service dept to ask what they recommend I do with the vehicle. No answer by a tech no call backs by anyone for over 3 hours. I then dig through my service paperwork and it shows it includes towing At this point I was 10 miles from the dealer and they stated the location was too far and I had to pay an additional $60 to tow it back. I then wait another 2 hours and the service guy states oh somehow someone removed some air throttle. Which has a clamp to hold on. He states he doesn't know how thus could have happened. Even though they have been the only one who has serviced this vehicle since I have the service plan Now. It's 4pm. When appt was at 7am. Literally ruined my day and ruined any faith I had in this dealership Please be aware of the tactics these people use. Horrible customer service. No apologies or even attempts at trying to rectify this situation. More
