I read a few horror stories of people negotiating online and then walking in and having some sort of bait and switch pulled on them. On the contrary, we were greeted warmly and the process was extremely smooth. Sat down, was presented with the price breakdown and the price that I was already promised. Did a trade-in and the price was fair. They were able to find me some financing with a lower rate than my credit union, so that was a bonus. There were a few up-sell attempts, but nothing egregious and no instances of them 'sneaking' something in. Probably was about 3 hours all told, which really wasn't bad. It's a nice dealership with plenty of room for my 2 year old to run around while we were waiting for everything to be processed. Also have a closed-in playroom for the kids and free donuts/popcorn/coffee. It's a shame it won't be our service dealer since we live over an hour away. All in all, a great experience all around and I'd highly recommend checking them out. More

Truthfully I was not totally ready to return but my car lost the front axle and I was without a car. I live in northern Wisconsin and work for a construction company based out of Buffalo Grove, Il. I called and talked to Paul Handler, who quickly found vechiles in my price range. Once I got off of work, I stopped by and was shown not 1 but several vechiles that fit my needs and price. Paul had a comfortable style and was very knowledgable on all of the vehicles. After working out the financing,Paul gave me a very thorough tour of my new vechile and was also very suprised to see the gas tank was full. I started the day angry and frustrated, but ended the day very satified. Kudos goes to Paul and the dealership. They worked very hard and quikly to solve my delemma. More
After a negative experience with another dealer in the Chicagoland area, I called Toyota North America who directed me here. Libertyville Toyota was very attentive to my needs, took the time to see the pr Chicagoland area, I called Toyota North America who directed me here. Libertyville Toyota was very attentive to my needs, took the time to see the problem (needed a battery) and promptly put a new one in under warranty (at the prorated cost). I had visited 2 other dealers about the problem and neither took the time to look at the car and tried to charge at full cost, regardless of the warranty. Overall very satisfied and for when I need to service in the area again, I will only go here. More
Paul Handler and Russ Ball, both of you are the best salesmen that my wife and I have ever dealt with in any industry. Thanks again for working with the financial/credit dept our our behalf. He offered us assistance at every juncture including fixing a few rust areas at a great bargin. I would recommmend Drew for anyone searching to find a new or used car. He was helpful completing this sale even though the direct party was out of state and didi some of the transaction by express mail. The Libertyville Toyota group also has a great service department which repaired a ABS brake light on our used van. I think the people who work with Drew will enjoy their experience. More
Had a fantastic experience with this dealer, and specifically with Terry. He was friendly, professional, answered all my questions and then some. I needed to trade in a leased RAV4 which I had purchased out of state. Although the only dealership required to take it back is the one I purchased from, Libertyville willingly offered to take it in - a testament I believe to how great the RAV4 is and how well it retains its value. Can't say I would be that confident with other, less reliable, cars. When it came time to select a new vehicle, I didn't get the hard sell as I have so many times before at other dealerships. It's a real turn off. Terry let his vast knowledge and the vehicles speak for themselves. It was great to cut through the BS, have an honest discussion, and it ultimately made the buying process more enjoyable. Next time I or a friend is in the market, I will definitely recommend Terry. Thanks, Terry! More
From my first visit to the dealership, I was treated with respect, courtesy, and a friendliness that was well beyond my expectations. I went to the dealership to look at a used Nissan Altima Coupe. Unfortu respect, courtesy, and a friendliness that was well beyond my expectations. I went to the dealership to look at a used Nissan Altima Coupe. Unfortunately, there were very strong thunderstorms passing through the area which resulted in wide spread power outages, including this dealership. I figured that I'd just pull in, look the vehicle over, then come back when they had power so we could talk. Drew Sims, my Salesman, walked over and, depsite the power outage, still showed me the car and even went on a test ride with me. Since there wasn't much going on at the dealership, he encouraged me to take what I found to be a longer than normal test drive. He gave me a thorough demonstration of the car's features and functions. He also encouraged me to drive the car like a regular person would drive it as opposed to driving like the salesman is in the car with me. Hopefully, I didn't make him too nervous. At the end of the test drive, I was introduced to his manager, given his business card, and thanked for my visit. I gave Drew my business card but he didn't bother me about my return visit, instead, he called to say thanks again and that he would be available to answer any more questions. Sure, it's a soft-sell but it's good to not feel bombarded with a sales pitch. I went back to the dealership with my wife so she could see the car and meet Drew. He met us in the parking lot, with a smile, a dealer license plate, and the keys to the car. We exchanged greetings and we were off in the car for another extended test ride, just my wife and I. When we returned, I told Drew of our situation (Total loss from flooding, need another car quickly and he got to work. I filled out a couple of forms and it was off to the races, so to speak. I was just going to show my wife the car then come back with a check to make the deal but Drew and Al made every possible allowance so we could take delivery of the car that day. The process did take longer than I'd hoped but between Drew and his colleagues "stopping by" from time to time and a really hot game of Words with Friends, it was practically enjoyable. When we did get in to the Financing office, everything was spelled out and process was time-consuming but smooth. As I said, I wasn't planning on taking the car that day but Al made it possible. At the end of the deal, I ended up with a lower interest rate than I expected, with better terms than I expected, and a better deal than I could find anywhere else. On top of that, the guys there have great senses of humor. What more could you ask for? This was, by a wide margin, the best car buying experience I've ever had. This will be my first stop when it's time for another car. More
I hate having to do this because I used to trust this dealership. I'm disgusted that they lied during the paper signing. Less than one week after purchasing my second 2011 Tundra, and with only 510 miles on the vehicle, the front floor pans had flooded due to a problem with the air conditioner. The first visit to the s Tundra, and with only 510 miles on the vehicle, the front floor pans had flooded due to a problem with the air conditioner. The first visit to the service department, they indicated the vehicle was repaired, but the drying and cleaning of the vehicle was not their responsibility. After drying the vehicle at home for 2 days using an extractor and a dehumidifier (at my own expense), the front floor pans flooded a second time. The second visit to the service department, they indicated that they “actually checked out the vehicle this time” and fixed the problem. Upon attempting to pick the vehicle up a second time, the floors were soaked and beginning to smell moldy. After leaving the vehicle a third time at the service department, they indicated again that cleaning, drying or replacing the damaged carpet and pad is not their responsibility. On the fourth visit, after filing 2 complaints with the Toyota Corporate Office, the service director indicated that they were able to pull some strings and would replace the carpet after all. They explained that the repairs would take a full week to complete and that they would not provide a loaner vehicle. When I proceeded to tell another client about my experiences, they called the police. They were however very gracious in not pressing "trespassing" charges. In addition to all of this, the Finance Department accidently forgot to include a rebate into the final purchase agreement. We had to redo the entire loan almost a week after the vehicle purchase. Incompetence obviously extends to the finance department as well. I'm still out of a vehicle, the new vehicle I purchased is wet and musty, and I've lost all faith in Toyota. I’ve especially want to express that the service department from my point of view is incompetent and unprofessional. Further, the General Managers, are as equally as un-professional as they failed to return phone calls, failed to even attempt to get the problem resolved. Instead, the effectively lost a client and are willing to risk losing future customers as a result of their actions and ultimately the products they sell. This is very disappointing to me having owned several Toyotas. I hope other potential customers will take this into consideration when in the market for a new vehicle. More
