The salesman, a former school teacher was great. Unfortunately, he is no longer in car sales So I was referred on the phone to a different sales person, Lindsey. She was pleasant enough, but she turned me over this afternoon to a Sales Manager. I explained to him how are family had purchased three Toyotas from this dealer. I asked him if I came in would they offer the Costco suggested price even though they are not a Costco dealer. He proceeded to get so rude with me and said their dealership never discusses price over the phone. I am fine with the policy, but there was no reason to get so rude I definitely will purchase a new Highlander and definitely from another dealer More

Terrible experience. I have below average credit. However I still qualify for a loan rate in single digits (which I got at another dealer). A good finance department would have tried my mortgage company for a loan. I have great credit with them. Instead, they "shotguned" me. This means they sent my credit application to many banks. This is bad for your credit. Also, I was honest with them upfront and told the about my credit before I went there. Because I did this, they would not let me test drive a vehicle. HACKS! More

I have been a longtime customer and keep buying from them because they have a great service department and great reliable products. The buying experience is usually on the long side but worth it in the end. Since I wanted a hybrid vehicle it was all new to me. Art Fanning, my salesman was excellent at teaching me the features before I left the premises and was very helpful all through the process and afterwards. I love the car and the special financing offered during February only was a great incentive plus get me more car for the money. More

And AutoNation Toyota has no clue how to treat customers. They certainly have competitive prices but that is where any positive ends. Went to purchase a vehicle (checkbook in hand) and was treated so poorly that I left even though they had the car I wanted. The next day I went to a different dealer and bought the EXACT SAME car (and they matched the price). I am not looking for "special" treatment but just to not be spoken too as if I am doing them a favor by gracing them with my presence. I have purchased many cars in my life and this is easily the worst customer service experience. So sad that Toyota is being represented by them. More
Unapologetic xxxx I wish I had read these reviews before wasting my time at this dealership. I requested an out of the door quote over the phone with Art Fanning. After he emailed me the quote, I asked him to confirm that the quote had used Chicago Sales Tax since I do not live in the area. He confirms that they used Chicago Sales Tax to calculate the quote. I went in the next day to look at the car and finalize the deal and what do you know. The quote that he had provided me was now the "Sales Price" and his manager was going to calculate the out the door price for me. When I brought this up he ignores me and talks over me about the breakdown of the new quote which was over $4,000 higher than the original he sent me. After I get up to leave because I was clearly frustrated, he agrees to have his manager look over the quote again. The quote he comes back is $1,000 less... BUT ALL THEY DID WAS TAKE OFF THE OPTIONAL INSURANCE PACKAGE. Needless to say, I stormed out. They know that they are using shady sales tactics. They don't care. ;TLDR: DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.
