I made an appointment to have my oil changed and was told it would take about an hour and 20 minutes. After an hour and half, I checked on the status and the service rep stated he would find out. Never heard it would take about an hour and 20 minutes. After an hour and half, I checked on the status and the service rep stated he would find out. Never heard anything and went back after 2 hours to find out my car had not even been brought into a bay! I understand that they were short handed and I would have had no issue if I was told that upfront and could have rescheduled to another day. The manager and service rep were incapable of actually managing their employees yet alone customer expectations. I spoke with the service manager which showed no empathy. I will never use their service again which I had been utilizing since I moved here in 2004. More
Signed an agreement and put down a deposit for a car. Was told "we had multiple customers lose cars scheduled to be built. Luckily, your vehicle was produced". Was misinformed multiple times throughout the p told "we had multiple customers lose cars scheduled to be built. Luckily, your vehicle was produced". Was misinformed multiple times throughout the process, being told that my vehicle was currently being shipped here from CA, etc., when that was not true. Multiple times what I was told was not true. Multiple times when I would reach out I wouldn't hear from anyone for a while, or would receive conflicting information. I never ended up receiving the vehicle, someone else bought it. I am giving this 1-star rating fully understanding what is going on globally with vehicles, due to a lack of trust based on this nightmare of an experience. More
Going to start off by noting that I’ve been a happy customer of Libertyville Toyota for nearly 20 years but sadly things have taken a turn for the worse. The customer service has been less than ste customer of Libertyville Toyota for nearly 20 years but sadly things have taken a turn for the worse. The customer service has been less than stellar as of late and it all started when I picked up my car with a low tire pressure light ON after spending about $1700 in services. I’ve never experienced that before. I mean, how can a dealership give you a car back with a warning light on? Then after dropping the car off shortly thereafter because it had pulling hard to the left I received word that service has test driven the car and found it wasn’t pulling. So I end up taking the service guy for a ride and he’s like, wow it’s really pulling. I mean, like xxx. He tells me I need new tires and with the balancing that comes with it that it will fix the issue. $600 later and guess what, the car still pulls left. They also left a wire sticking out in the back just below the window. It’s not just attention to details from a service standpoint, but I walked in to pick up my car after another service appointment and there are three people typing at their computers yet not one even looks up to say “hi, we will be with you in a minute.” It’s like I didn’t exist and that really was bad. Even more, I was standing there and watched one of the sales reps take an invoice a customer signed and toss it across the room by the printer. Just unprofessional especially with customers right there. More
I always go there for car maintenance. Attend to you immediately after dropping the car. The waiting place is clean and keeps you update while they’re working on your car. They listen also to your sugg immediately after dropping the car. The waiting place is clean and keeps you update while they’re working on your car. They listen also to your suggestions on how they improve their system. Like integrating VCP, VPP information to their system. More
My husband took our RAV4 for service. He said it took longer than expected. They did not wash the car after the service. Very dissapointing ! ! longer than expected. They did not wash the car after the service. Very dissapointing ! ! More
I made an appointment two weeks ahead of time to have the oi changed on our 2019 Highlander. Even with the appointment, it took over an hour and a half to have the oil changed and the car was not washed whe oi changed on our 2019 Highlander. Even with the appointment, it took over an hour and a half to have the oil changed and the car was not washed when it was returned. While I would recommend this dealership for the purchase of a new car, there are plenty of other choices for quicker vehicle maintenance. More
