I purchased my toyota tacoma in 2009 from this dealership (Libertyville) and have always brought it there for service and have been very pleased...except for my last experience on 7/20/2021. I made an appointment a week earlier for an oil change. When I arrived I was informed that they were short handed and it would be about 1 hour and 15 min....no problem. I watched as customers arrived after me and called before me, after 1 hour and 45 minutes I approached Robert Pollak (service advisor) and he said other customers had appointments, and that my appointment wasn't with the service tech it was with him (??). I walked away and went to the new car dept and spoke to CJ. He checked and said to take a seat and Robert will be out to talk to me. He walked by me several times and gave me a dirty look each time. After 15 minutes I spoke to CJ again and then Robert called me after 2 hours said my truck was ready, I paid and went to the porter. The porter checked the invoice, got keys and just hit my key fob and pointed to where my truck was parked in the lot. When I arrived at my car I noticed that the car was not washed and there was oily handprints on driver door, hood and INSIDE on door handle which got on me. I drove to the new car dept again and talked to CJ and other employees. They looked at my truck and said it was unacceptable and they apologized would have it washed and they also filled my gas tank. After about 3 hours later and a horrific experience, I finally was able to leave.....but I don't think I will ever go back. Thank goodness for CJ and the new car dept, otherwise I might still be there waiting for my oil change. More
I’ve been a client at Autonation since 2014, when I moved back to the area, and was once more completely satisfied with my experience now. Great service; punctual, friendly, helpful. Lesly Antunez went above and beyond to help me find the car I wanted in the conditions I needed. Although it’s not easy to get a car nowadays, one week after my first visit to autonation, I left with my brand new RAV4. The manager, Donald Banas, reached out to me a few times just to know if I had questions or needd anything. I will go back for sure, and I recommend this dealer. More

Total waste of time. We wanted to try a used camry which was being detailed when we went. Took an appointment two days later to try it, we arrived on time but they were totally unprepared. Took half an hour was being detailed when we went. Took an appointment two days later to try it, we arrived on time but they were totally unprepared. Took half an hour just to see the car, the salesman we took the appointment with was a no show. When we saw the car it was heavily scratched on all sides, uncleaned, not even vaccumed, yet they knew we were coming to try it. The worst was that they seem to think this was a normal thing to do. Very disappointing. More
I am in my 2nd car lease. The dealership neglected to pay off my 1st lease. by neglecting to not pay off my 1st lease, had negatively impacted my credit score. I requested to the Controller and GM to m pay off my 1st lease. by neglecting to not pay off my 1st lease, had negatively impacted my credit score. I requested to the Controller and GM to make a few concessions. They rejected both of of these. (1) Pay my $350 Disposition fee when my lease expires. (2) To pay for any service work that might be needed. I was only covered for 24 months. More

Terrible experience. They first lure you to a dealership with a competitive offer. In my case salesman was trying to increase price by $400 for 2 tinted windows. I purchased a extended warrant for my 2016 Toyota Sienna which I was told that it would cover the car until 2021 if there was a problem. After purchasing the warranty I found that it only covered oil change which I was told that it would cover the car until 2021 if there was a problem. After purchasing the warranty I found that it only covered oil changes and tire rotations. Every time you take it in for service they try adding on additional service charges. This will be the last time I will purchase a vehicle from here and DO NOT BUY a extended warranty from these people More
