I have multiple issues buying this car. First, we had to wait over 1.25 hours to close on the vehicle. When we arrived at the time I said we would get there, I mentioned we needed to be o First, we had to wait over 1.25 hours to close on the vehicle. Second issue is we did not receive all the documents we signed at closing. Specifically I requested the IL sales tax form and the odometer declaration. Michael said they don't typically provide those documents but would send over. What was sent over was the warranty doc and the sales tax form but the odometer form was unsigned. In Illinois, I am entitled to receive a copy of any document I signed. I requested a signed copy from Michael but never received it. Finally, I had my local VW dealer look over the car. What they found was the new front brake rotors were warped. I did notice a shimmy when driving the car but didn't think you would allow someone to put on faulty parts! Next was the pollen filter, not the right one for the car. Lastly, the heat/ac work but all the solenoids for diverting air did not work. They also found a nail in the right rear tire but that could have happened after I left the dealership. Overall a disappointing purchase experience! I hope someone reads this and can take some action here. More

Ultimate Bait and Switch. Advertised price $6000 suddenly turned into $14,000! I wish I could give negative stars! Why would we have driven an hour to pay $8000 more? Do not take any of the prices posted online as actual prices (craigslist and their own website or cars.com). We were also told we were not allowed to test drive it and it hadn't been detailed yet (okay, then why was it clean with tire dressing on it already?) Then we were told it had bad suspension and can't be driven. This is actually the 3rd strike for me and this particular AutoNation Toyota dealership. 1st strike was setting up an appointment at 9am (not just us but 3 other couples waiting for our 9am appointment) on a Monday when the dealership wasn't opening until 10am that Monday apparently. 2nd strike was having the car 'sold' by the time we got there (no phone call or email warning as going there) and finally today with the $8000 markup from what was advertised! UNREAL! AutoNation is not the place I ever want to do business with after all this xx. We said we didn't want any of the work done and to buy 'as-is' as we were originally told (were shown a $4279 bill of work to be done that included $1200 for new tires it honestly didn't need immediately) and were told that's not possible, the work must be done first. That is just more xx. More
