Most importantly, he said he would sit down with the Sales Manager to go over the lease buyout process and issues surrounding the customer service experience I had that day. He was a very pleasant guy to speak with, and I’m happy that a solution has been found. My wife and I went in to this dealership after being referred from Toyota Financial’s website to do a lease buyout on our 2018 Corolla. I also brought the car in the same day for a 30,000 mile service. I’ll break this review down between service and sales since I got the *pleasure* to experience both in the same day. TL;DR, this was my first and last visit to this dealer. Service: If you’ve ever been into a Toyota Dealership in the past for a service appointment, this one is no different. Drive into the bay, walk in, and talk to the guys for your appointment. My service advisor was Louis Chung. He was a pretty nice guy, no complaints about him specifically. What really got me was the price for a 30,000 service which cost a little over $600. That was broken down into an oil change ($95.21 - ripoff), changing cabin and engine air filter ($98.98 - ripoff, just do it yourself), brake fluid replacement ($149.99 - higher than the national average cost to do this), wheel alignment ($119.95, which isn’t terrible, not great), an assurance plan that I don’t recall agreeing to pay for $35, fuel system cleaner ($42.99), and various other “checks and inspections” that is mostly them looking at a part for 2 seconds and moving on. I felt the prices for these were very high, so I recommend finding a trusted independent mechanic in the area to do these things. I know that’s what I will be doing in the future. When I went to pickup the car they left the interior very dirty. There were dirt/grease stains on the seats that need to be cleaned out, and they said they did a complimentary wash, but it looks like they just sprayed it with a garden hose and called it a day without it even drying. Sales: For the sales part of the transaction, we worked with Jonathan Milbourn who was very pleasant with us. I had absolutely no problems with him as he was very accommodating and asked us if we needed anything to drink such as water/coffee. Since this was a lease buyout, the buyout price of the car was set in stone 3 years ago before anyone predicted COVID-19 and how the used car market would react, so we got a pretty stellar deal on this car by buying it at about half of its true retail value. However, on the purchase quote they gave us, they presented us with a $250 charge for a State Inspection. Excuse me, what!? $250 for an inspection that, by Virginia law states that car inspections may not be more than $20. I was quite upset about this and the Sales Manager, William King, came over to talk with us. I explained to him that a state inspection shouldn’t cost more than $20. To top it off, when we went in on 7/17/21, they couldn’t even perform inspections since they got shut down there. We went back and forth for a little bit, but he was persistent and kept making up excuses of how it’s a “simple business transaction” and another, that many customers “find that it’s a convenience for them to get their car inspected here.” Well, I didn’t find it very convenient how they are literally breaking the law and charging me $250 for a state inspection. He said they are required by law to inspect all cars before being sold, but does he also fail to realize it’s the law to charge only $20 for an inspection? I took a photo of the document as well with the line item “State Inspection… $250” for records as I very well end up filing a complaint with the appropriate government entity. Well, Mr. King wasn’t too happy with us and got up and left in a huff and proceeded to ignore us for the the rest of our time there. Jonathan remained pleasant and civil during this as I imagine he was just doing his job and he wasn’t too sure when we asked initially what this State Inspection comprised of. I don’t blame Jonathan at all as he seemed unaware of what these charges were, but Mr. King was downright rude and truly fulfills his role as a used car sales manager by trying to come up with excuses on extra charges. The finance manager was very pleasant and we talked about music, bands, and skiing, and that part didn’t take too long, but overall the buying experience of our lease took about 3 hours in total. When we left Mr. King was by the entrance and as we made eye contact, he said not a single word to us. He alone left a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t plan on ever coming back to that dealership because of him.. I’m very upset about the extra $230 they charged for the State Inspection and hope they can make this right, because I felt like my experience in that dealership was simply unacceptable. To the dealership, do better. And to those reading, just go somewhere else. More
They treated me like less than human when I brought my car in to be fixed as the transmission was messed up. They talked to me like I could not afford any of the repairs. Nobody got back to me after the d car in to be fixed as the transmission was messed up. They talked to me like I could not afford any of the repairs. Nobody got back to me after the diagnosis and i had to call and leave multiple messages. Timothy Nolan was extreemly rude in this dealership, when my car was towed there, he did not even care to confirm that it was there until i forced him to walk me to the service center to see. While there he opened my car door and hit the car next to it. He then proceeded to tell me that the diagnosis would be done the next day. 24 hours later he had not called for an update and when I called he told me the transmission had to be replaced and he didnt know if I could afford it. He treated me like I was wasting his time and like I had no business bringing my car there. After I called and left about 5 messages asking to speak to any other representative they just forwarded me and left me on voicemail. This is the worst experience I have had with a Toyota after owning mine for 10 years and dealing with multiple dealerships in multiple states. If you do not drive a brand new car or do not dress or appear rich they will put you on the back burner and completely discriminate against you. They are a horrible dealership and their representatives do not care. Even if my car was still at their dealership, i talked to Timothy Nolan and he could not offer any options. I was willing to buy a new car or trade in mine but that did not matter to him and them as a company because they had already judged me as not good enough. I highly recommend that you think twice before visiting this dealership. More

It is surprising that technician never noticed the transmission pan gasket leak until I had noticed at home and brought it back to the dealership. Than they charged me outrageous charge of $146 just for the diagnostic/inspection charge. Honestly if the car was looked properly during the oil change service and multipoint check that includes inspection of Transmission Leaks, the technician definitely would have noticed the leak. For bad experience , I am never going to return to this dealership. I would not recommend anyone , I highly doubt their quality of service. More

A few clicks, a few e-mails, and a few phone calls, and I thought I had arranged my car purchase without spending my entire day driving to the dealership, waiting, test-driving, waiting, and driving back. It turns out that that is just a fantasy. Every bit of it was a lie. I found a great car. I did the online financing application where I identified my APR and monthly payment. I got to the end where it said my car would be saved for 72 hours and made an appointment to go in the next afternoon since the dealership was closing in an hour and a half. The next morning, I got an e-mail that the car had been sold. And, when they tried to negotiate with me on a newer, more expensive model, they were "surprised" at the APR I was quoted online an gave me payments based on a much higher interest rate. Throw in a bit of condescension and no remorse given that I had just had them run a credit report on me to arrange the financing and I had lost the car I really wanted to buy and was very inconvenienced, and you can see the multitude of problems.
