Always professional and my service representative, Michael Bigness, is the best! He is always honest with me and tells me what service can wait and what needs to be done immediately. The mileage on my invoice was incorrect, I waited for almost 2 hours and it wasn't until I went and checked that they told me my car was done. I have no idea how long it was done. The person I dealt with almost 2 hours and it wasn't until I went and checked that they told me my car was done. I have no idea how long it was done. The person I dealt with was friendly, but not overly helpful. He seemed to be preoccupied with getting a new jacket and closing time. More
After $315. 00 in charges, Auto Nation Service Department failed to repair a simple TPMS discrepancy. I left still broken, but had to pay the bill to get my keys. I scheduled two weeks in advance for a tire pressure monitor system problem. They charged me $100 for diagnostics, which was apparently wrong, then over-charged me for a replacement part which I probably did not need. When I received my vehicle, the first thing I noticed is that the discrepancy remained, squawk not fixed, so they took it back into the shop and tried again. Upon receiving my vehicle the second time, again the problem still existed, still broken. The response from the service department was, "just drive it around a while and bring it back if it doesn't start working." Bring it back again?? Really?? So, what they did was, they told their customer (me) to take a day off work and come back to them to try for a third time to fix it, and I'm sure they would charge me again! I'll never go back to them for service work. As a loyal Toyota owner, I go to the dealer because they are supposed to have the expertise, trained technicians, proper tooling, and Toyota approved, competitively priced parts. But certainly not in this case. This was a simple rip off. Also, the vehicle was returned with some kind of sticky stuff on the steering wheel and hand prints on the door. Then they couldn't find my key fob which was in the cup holder. They tried to give me keys for someone else's vehicle. Furthermore, while all this was going on, the service advisor gave me an absolute "out the door" price. The final bill ended up being 25 dollars higher than what the "out the door" price. Bottom line is, after paying top dollar, I left with a still-broken vehicle with no recourse other than taking a day off work and coming back for another experience. I have been a happy Toyota customer for many years, probably because I never have to go to a service center for maintenance. Our family has two Toyota products. But, after this experience, perhaps we'll switch. More
