my sons Scion had the service engine light on. Jeff in service told my wife 125.00 to put on diagnostics machine, even with extended gold service contract paid for when car was purchased from same dealer. service told my wife 125.00 to put on diagnostics machine, even with extended gold service contract paid for when car was purchased from same dealer. They found a mass air flow sensor unplugged and a hose off,the car also needed injector cleaner.They told my wife that the filters must be changed also,vital to the cars running smoothly. When I looked at the invoice when they came home she was charged 105.70 for replacing a 1.5 month old air cleaner and a cabin filter. We all know a cabin filter has nothing what so ever to do with a cars running. The air cleaner was changed about a month and a half ago. There was nothing wrong with it at all. Total bill was 270.16 For reconnecting a hose,a wire,injector cleaner and changing 2 filters. Auto zone sells same items for less than 45.00 total in the best quality they carry. I will never, ever buy a car from this dealer again nor have anything serviced by them. I would suggest you take the vehicle anywhere but here for service. More
