We had an issue the first time we made the appointment for the recall. After making the appointment and verifying that the parts for the recall were in stock, we arrived at the appointment and checked in for the recall. We certainly did not appreciate wasting all that time. And when i called and emailed about being upset about the inconvenience, no one returned my calls or replied to my emails. The dealership was very receptive to my needs and serviced my car within the agreed upon time frame. I was far more pleased with the service at the Irvine dealership than the service at the Tustin d serviced my car within the agreed upon time frame. This visit for service was really pretty bad. They apparently had quite a few people in front who had called out sick, which probably didn't help, but previous visits haven't been great, either. It took about 50 minutes just to get the car checked in. Then, when we picked it up later in the day, although nothing was mentioned to us at all, we noticed on the paperwork that the safety recall work we had requested by number had not been done. They did another recall instead, that we knew nothing about, saying they couldn't find the one we had received two notices from Toyota in the mail about on their computer. Then the service manager just seemed focused on trying to "clean up" our paperwork by trying to get us to sign another set that removed reference to us having requested the specific recall work by number. She said she wanted to change it to be clearer that the OTHER recall had been done... which she said would help them in their billing for their work. We'll probably try another dealer for service next time. More
