I purchased 2015 Toyota Sienna at AutoNation Irvine. They provides excellent service even there are some minor problem with the used car. The management take care the issue I request. The service provided on 11/26/22 was poor to AutoNation Toyota dealership in Irvine, CA. We got to the dealership for our 9:00 am appointment at 8:40. There were one of the first customers. Our scheduled advisor was Mike R. though we were referred to Kate. She told us that base on our past maintenance service, we need to rotate tires - the maintenance warning light came on that's why we took the truck to the dealer. She said that should be done in pretty quickly, only tire rotation. In the meantime, she recommended a wheel alignment. We refused to do it now due to our time constraints. Suffice it to say that I've been driving lots of company vehicles (passenger) and never a fleet management company recommended alignment. We waited for over 1 1/2 hours, seeing other vehicles that came after us leaving the dealership, though not ours. I went inside the shop, could not find Kate, and talked to Mike R. regarding the status of our vehicles: was told, "They just wrapping up." Waited another 40 mins and went to see Kate. She really apologized to us, saying that this should not have been taking that much time. Finally, we got our car, which was not washed - typically, the dealership will wash your car here. There was another customer before us whose car was not washed either in spite of the car runner's assurance that they had washed the car- the customer run his finger through the Prius' exterior body: it was all in dust. So my question is: How can I trust that the mechanic did tire rotation? Or s/he will do alignment as promised? This is our second car from this dealership and we've taken all our vehicles for regular maintenance all the time without any major problems. So what went wrong then? First of all, had I known it was only tire rotation, I'd have gone to Costco. Unfortunately, the maintenance warning light on new models does not tell you what needs to be done. And that's the reason for my very low rating for this dealership. More
Employees were nice and knowledgeable but I had an appointment and still had to wait almost 4 hours for the service (oil & filter change, and alignment) to be completed. My appointment was at 9:00 and I did not leave the dealership until shortly after 1pm. Was able to use a coupon I found online and that saved me over $100. Check for coupons and plan to be there for a while. More
