My car was taken immediately when I arrived at my dealership. The estimate they gave me for cost turned out to be more than they ended up charging me. As a widow, I am dependent on the honesty of my service person, and at Toyota I feel cared for! Thank you, James for watching out for me! More
I have taken my car there since I purchased it in 2017. All services have been performed in a timely manner and I have received good communication from them. In general, I was never impressed with their service, but not disappointed either. This changed in my last two visits. On my second-to-last visit, I told the service specialist that I would be waiting for my car to be ready in the lobby. After 3 hours, I looked for him and he acted very surprised and embarrassed that I was still there - it was obvious that he had forgotten to call me. It happens, I understand. Unfortunately, he did not even attempt to apologize. When I asked if he had forgotten about me, he changed the subject... I did not feel respected. More recently, on my last visit, I took my car there to be serviced and to check an error message. I was told that it would cost me around $200 to check the problem. When it was time to pick up the car, I was told that the problem could not be fixed because the sensor had been moved out of place as a result of an accident. I was supposed to take my car to a body shop first. Fine. Except that my car was never in an accident. When I told the service specialist this, it was clear that he did not believe me. When I tried to better understand the problem and what I could do to fix it, he simply repeated the same explanation: I needed to take the car to the body shop that fixed it after the accident - in other words, he did not believe me and was not listening to me. After pressing for an alternative explanation for the problem and getting the same nonsensical response, I gave up. Again, I left AutoNation feeling disrespected for the second time in a row. In addition, I had to pay $200 for a diagnosis that did not fix the problem or lead me to a clear path to solving the problem. A day or so later, I received a message from AutoNation with a link to a video from the service team - "this is great!," I thought. "I will finally see where the problem is!" Unfortunately, the video (a great idea, in principle) was useless: it only showed me that my tires were in good shape. It did not show me a single thing they worked on or, more importantly, where the faulty sensor was located and what I could do about it. Sigh. Needless to say, I did not feel good about leaving over $1200 there to pay for the car's service. More

We didn’t discuss numbers upfront which is not typical. We had been searching for a year now for this specific vehicle which is why we stayed; otherwise, we would have left and gone somewhere else.The employees saw us struggle trying to gather the data for them to qualify for the loan and they did not seem to care or put us at ease whether we got that info for them or not. When buying cars we are just used to the sales representative and the finance manager working with us to get qualified and not against us. I found it odd how the finance manager was using our down payment to buy off out interest rate which makes me think we actually qualified for a lower interest rate but the finance manager just gave us the higher interest rate. My credit score is excellent (740+) so I found it really odd as well that my interest rate offered was very high and how the finance manager could have lowered our interest rate if we had accepted the upgrades. In other words, the finance manager was buying off our interest without telling us, then lying about it and saying that it was a warranty. My experience was just terrible. If it wasn’t a dream for my family to have this specific vehicle we would have honestly left. It was very stressful and almost felt to us like they didn’t want to sell us the vehicle. Please please Auto Nation don’t let others go through this same experience! I urge you!!! We are also a minority so I am not sure if that is something that had to do with their attitude. Thank you. Mohammed came through for me after my lease expired. I received the car 2 days after Christmas vs mid-January as originally projected. Mohammad was patient and very knowledgeable and tech savvy. He knows his way around apps, texts and emails….but most of all, I think he really cared that I received the vehicle I was searching for. No other dealership has informed me of any available LEs….that is what stood out most….the ability to get me what I needed and he respected my time enough to try not to upsell me…Happy New Year all! Alex was very professional when I was browsing around for a pre-owned vehicle.
