The last time I purchased a car was through a broker from my credit union and it was absolutely no hassle. Here, even though I ordered the car weeks before, it took several hours to pick it up. I was shuttle my credit union and it was absolutely no hassle. Here, even though I ordered the car weeks before, it took several hours to pick it up. I was shuttled from waiting area to waiting area and then had to see the finance manager who wanted to upsell me on extended warranties, etc. I purchased the service contract based on the cost of service for each visit but then found out on my first 5K mile service that they were offering the first year of service free. So I really felt ripped off there. Plus, they bring you in every 5K miles even though the oil only needs to be changed every 10K miles, which is a waste of time for me and another chance for them to find "additional service suggestions." I thought the new model for car dealers was to be less like car dealers. I think I'll go back to the broker next time. More
