They graciously worked me in rather than have me return the next day, which I offered to do. The service area is clean and the staff are very courteous. Amanda was efficient at transferring my services from the original appointment. Shuttle drivers from and back to the dealership were very courteous timely. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because, as every dealership seems to do, they work to sell additional services as they are doing the agreed upon work. I would much rather see pictures justifying what they propose and make a decision to include the recommended services during the next visit. Of course, if they find something that is imperative to fix immediately, I will have them do it during the current visit. I would still want to see pictures justifying the need to have the work done prior to approving. Overall, though, AutoNation is a very professional dealership to deal with. More
AutoNation Irvine did an excellent job of fixing the most critical issues with my Prius. James had to order a part and was able to get the part in within a few hours, so everything was completed by the after critical issues with my Prius. Watch what is included in your "service package" prior to accepting as this dealership is including a significant number of "revenue enhancement" items, and I am done with them and actively looking for anoth accepting as this dealership is including a significant number of "revenue enhancement" items, and I am done with them and actively looking for another option. 55k service is to check the car and reset the "idiot light" for a cost of maybe $85. However, this dealership included unnecessary oil change (read the manual, every 10k NOT 5k), "fuel system service", and yet another attempt at various "add-ons" for an attempt to get $210 out of my pocket. "Fuel system cleaners" can be bought at an auto store for about $10 and are generally unnecessary. Unless your fuel of choice does NOT contain appropriate levels of "detergents" (don't know of one that doesn't), you should be perfectly fine without paying this revenue enhancement cost. Almost every place that sells tires also rotates them for FREE, so paying them for this is also a waste of your money. PLEASE look at the vehicle maintenance guide in your vehicle's documentation and do NOT let them enhance their profits with unnecessary services. The maintenance schedule was designed for a reason: so the vehicle buys knows what is expected at services. Anything beyond this should raise an immediate eyebrow. More
