The sales person that I had at this dealership did not have much knowledge about the car I was interested in. The sales person began with stating that the vehicle that I was looking for was sold and no lo have much knowledge about the car I was interested in. The sales person began with stating that the vehicle that I was looking for was sold and no longer at the dealership. However, when we sat down to discuss what I was most interested in and I told him I would go to another dealership to find a used version of the vehicle, he all of a sudden found the car. There were questions regarding whether the used car continued to receive unlimited charging for the year. The sales person said yes, which I have in writing. After the sale, I was told that he would follow up with me again. There were mistakes made by the sales manager in which I received two papers one with the correct address, the other with the wrong address, and both had the same tax number on them, which I signed. Then, they came back and told me that my the taxes were different and made me resign at a higher rate. In addition, while I was signing for the car, the car could’ve been pulled around to the front. Instead after completing the transaction, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to receive the car and the charger, which all could’ve been completed while I was signing. Also, the dealership seemed very unorganized in which cars were randomly parked on opposite sides of the lot, in comparison to other dealerships where they have models and trims all bundled next to each other. Lastly, I asked multiple times to test drive the car before signing. The guy to do my paperwork came to me before I had completed the test drive. Overall, the experience was frustrating as the sales manager seemed disorganized and new to the field. I was happy that I received a phone call back from one of the sales manager stating that they would send me a check for $500 for the charging, since I was given the wrong information. I am hoping that that is not another false promise. More
The personnel at this dealership were friendly, courteous and responsive. Although I did have to wait almost 3 hours to receive a check for the sale of my used car to AutoNation and I didn't get a detailed e and responsive. I did not know how hard it was to buy a car in 2023. None of my local dealers let me take time to review and think about this big decision, until I got in contact with AutoNation Toyota Irvine. I’m from the South Bay, and it was still worth it for me to talk to the people in Irvine than the dealers here. I talked with Alex Ashari with my cousin and he was just so helpful to us. He made the car buying experience really easy for me, as a first time buyer. I initially wanted a Prius and he was able to find me the one I wanted, but I changed my mind last minute and he was patient with me and helped me find another car that was even more suited for me, the Corolla cross hybrid. Alex was very communicative with the entire process. I was about to text him with any questions I had, he kept me updated when the car would be ready, and was flexible with my schedule. I greatly appreciated his patience through the whole process and I never felt rushed at any moment. I even got a couple of great add ons to take home! It was such a sigh of relief when the car was officially mine, I’m so happy with my new car. Thank you Alex and Rafael at Autonation Toyota Irvine, the team you have there are phenomenal! More
After two weeks after I bought the car from AutoNation Toyota Irvine, there was a loud noise when I hit the break, apparently they didn’t re-surface the rotors, I contacted them, and they told me I can ta Toyota Irvine, there was a loud noise when I hit the break, apparently they didn’t re-surface the rotors, I contacted them, and they told me I can take my car to closest AutoNation dealership, which was AutoNation Honda Valencia, after their inspection, they told me that the rotors should be resurfaced, even though the car was under their 90 days warranty, AutoNation Irvine denied to pay the repair fee and I had to pay out of pocket, it’s really disappointing how they rip off customer’s with offering warranty which doesn’t work when you need it. We initially went to AutoNation Irvine to check out the Sienna, and were not disappointed by either the vehicle or by our salesman, Stewart Rodell. He greeted us promptly, and was friendly, personable and also easy going, so we both felt at ease with him immediately. Stewart is very knowledgeable - he has been doing this for many years. We ended up returning several times, and he showed us nothing but patience in answering all of our many questions. He bent over backwards to help us in every possible way, and even rescheduled his own personal commitments in order to accommodate our odd schedule. Every employee we met while completing our purchase was professional. and all were easy to deal with - special kudos to Ozzie in that regard. We are glad we went to AutoNation Irvine, and especially glad to have had Stewart as our salesman. We highly recommend him - and AutoNation Irvine - to anyone shopping for a Toyota. More
