Had an expired TSB on my 2009 hybrid. Was hoping they could take it up to corporate since it is a brake malfunction issue but dealer said it can't happen. I had to wait beyond my appointment time for someone to come out, open the gate, and then receive my car. It was suggested that I purchase a wheel alignment (that wasn't covered by the maintenance package) come out, open the gate, and then receive my car. It was suggested that I purchase a wheel alignment (that wasn't covered by the maintenance package), and after looking it up on Google appears to be a common method for dealerships to get more money. Ultimately, after declining the suggestion and waiting for over an hour for less than an oil change, I was given my car back and informed that the car wash was shut down for the day. It helped to think that it was a free visit, even though I knew that I had already paid for the maintenance package. I will of course continue to have my car serviced there, and decline any obvious suggestions for unnecessary services, until the maintenance package expires... then I'll take it day by day. I can say that the Toyota service department is miles above the Chevy service department. More
