My Experience with this Dealership I bought new car on March 23, 2019. Right after getting the key, I found a defect in the car. The sales manager promised to fix that. After a lot of begging, the part got replaced but the technician mis-assembled the dashboard and it was falling apart. I noticed that after reaching home. I am not getting any further help from the dealership since I am just one customer out of a billion customers they may have. I tried to reach Toyota Customer Service but they are so busy that even after one month of continuous begging, they are not able to reach out to dealership to get this so called "New Car" repaired for no fault of mine. I have lost all my enthusiasm of new car and all the money that I paid for NEW car. More
The dealer doesn't stand behind the cars they sell. I bought a new Tacoma. In 2 days I noticed the speedometer was way off. I took it to the dealer and got the runaround. I later got a video on my phone of sitting at a stop light and the speedometer showed 40mph. They accepted the video and called Toyota for advice. They said to replace the entire cluster, but they were on back order. Autonation said they would call when the part was available. 28 days later with no truck I called the dealership. They had no information. I called Toyota and explained what was going on. They checked, found the history and noted that the part had been ready for 8 days. Toyota shipped the part, called Autonation and it was installed the next morning. I was 2 days from the Lemon Law kicking in. Autonation could care less. They are not your advocate if you have a defect. More

Bait and switch I can't stress how terrible my experience was. First, The prices on the window stickers are not the price of the car. They added "dealer extras" t I can't stress how terrible my experience was. First, The prices on the window stickers are not the price of the car. They added "dealer extras" that were not listed on the sticker. These weren't divulged until we were into the negotiations. Second, the sales staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing. We wandered around for 20 minutes looking for a car that didn't have the "dealers extras". Finally they gave up and said it had been sold. Once they found an acceptable car and we started talking about price they made us wait for almost 2 hours while they tried to figure out their own sales process. Then came the real nonsense. They quoted us an interest rate of 13% (I'm new to the USA, so I don't have a credit rating in this country). When I said no, they convinced us to wait and took another hour to come back with 6.9%. That's an acceptable rate, but 3 weeks later (yes they let me drive around for 3 weeks without financing), they called me back into the office. The interest rate quoted is not what they actually charge. It went up from 6.9 to 18% !!! Then Finance staff doesn't know what paperwork they need. I had to go back 3 times. I don't think its criminal, but its certainly incompetent. More
Poor Customer Service I purchased a brand new Toyota Avalon Hybrid and the car would next start after stopping at the mall within 10 minutes from the dealership. I called and they sent one of the sales attendants. He said it is battery problem. I asked how can a brand new car have battery problem. He got jumped the car and we drove back to the dealership. Of course the service dept was closed since it was late in the evening. I was told they would call me when the car is ready. I received a call a few it must have been almost a week later. Since I took Bart to work that day I told I would need someone to pick me up from Bart. I called ahead of time to let them what I would be at the Bart station. The driver arrived almost 30 minutes later. When I got to the dearliership I was told my car was not ready? WHAT ?? How could that be possible when they called and told me the car was ready. I was pissed off and demanded to speak with the manager. I was told he was out of the country on family issue. I asked for him contact information. I communicated with him via email and explained who horrible their customer service and how unacceptable that is. Never heard back from. In the meantime, when their customer outreach dept manager contacted me. I demanded my car be delivered ASAP and that I would never step a foot at their dealership anymore. I also tried to call their Sales Dept Manager/VP several times until he finally answered my call. Need to say, he was arrogant and of no help. SO BUYER BEWARE. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS at AutoNation Toyota Hayward Service Center. More

I make appt so that it would be more timely and such. This is the last time here shame on me for not leaving sooner. Today my truc was in for a 50k service basically a oil change and rotation of tires. Technician spoke to me like I an either stupid or 5 yrs old perhaps it is because I am a woman. After that he said after about 1 hr he would call me and we could talk about the rotors after the inspections. I waited 2 hrs and went to his office. He was very rushed and stated telling me about the windshield wipers that came to 80.00 I said why am I paying for that? He said cause they are disposable and I am responsible for them. I told him I didn't ask for them to be replaced. He looked at the paper again and realized that he was telling me about someone else's car. He then dismissed me. Told me to go wait in waiting room. It has now been nearly 3 hour and he just took me to see my car on rAck to show me how my tires are wearing unevenly. How can that be I only ever have my truck serviced here. Why am I only hearing about that now. His suggestion is that I buy all new tires and then bring it in for an alignment. When I saw the truck on the ramp the oil was just being drained. So my appt was at 740 am and they are just draining oil at 1020. I am so disappointed in the service I receive and my service contract. Wish I never bought one. More

Sale representatives are good, but be careful to deal with the Loan officer, the final touch off guy, who manage interest rate and do the paper works. 1% interest rate means about $1200.00 dollars added on you outdoor price, so even though you reduce $500.00 in negotiation, if the finance rate will be 1% higher, you will lose your game scored negative $700.00. Use your Pre-approved interest rate than any higher rates offered to you from Toyota financial Except that it was good deal.. More
