I went to Toyota to have my 2011 Toyota checked and after doing that I was approached by David Delson telling me about how much I would enjoy have the new 2013 Toyota. He took me out and opened the hood and doing that I was approached by David Delson telling me about how much I would enjoy have the new 2013 Toyota. He took me out and opened the hood and told me all about the new improvements and the new technology. David is a very good salesman, was not pushy and had a very positive attitude. After seeing all the new additions, I road tested the car and really liked it. This is m y 3rd Toyota in 4 years at the same dealership, and they keep getting better. I know the dealership changed hands and I believe the new owners are doing a great job. More

Blair was not the typical sales type. He was friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy, and appeared to give me what I asked for. Since I knew what I wanted as to the specifics in the car, I only wanted the best knowledgeable, not pushy, and appeared to give me what I asked for. Bob Rice and James Long are two outstanding Sales Consultants working at Ft. Myers Toyota Scion (FMTS). I met James in December of 2012 while waiting for service on my 2001 Toyota Corolla to be comp Consultants working at Ft. Myers Toyota Scion (FMTS). I met James in December of 2012 while waiting for service on my 2001 Toyota Corolla to be completed. We met on the dealership lot as I perused the 2013 Corollas, at that time, the potential replacement for our 2001 Corolla. James spent about one hour with me explaining the demonstrating the improvements in the latest Corolla models, even though I told him upfront that my purchase of a new Corolla probably would not occur until February or March of 2013. His no-pressure approach during our extensive conversation to try and sell me a Corolla on the spot as well as his extensive knowledge of all aspects of the Corolla line, plus his easy going manner and sense of humor truly impressed me; so much so that as my "first contact" at the dealership I orally commited to him that I would insist that he share in any commission generated from my purchasing a vehicle at this dealership regardless of whether he sold me a vehicle or another Sales Consultant successfully completed the sale. James Long's great personality and professionalism are two of the main factors that made my decision to return to FMTS to purchase a vehicle a "no brainer". Bob Rice- what piece of work, and I mean this in a very, very good way. Fast forward to early March 2013. My wife decided to nix the 2013 Corolla and replace it with a 2013 Prius (HER new car; I will inherit the 2001 mechanically refurbushed Corolla). I was assigned the task of researching info, specs, and pricing of the Prius line. SHE(we) decided on a Sea Glass Pearl wirh Misty Gray interior 2013 Prius 2. A check of FMTS's website showed they had the exact vehicle in stock; the posted MSRP for this Prius matched those posted on the Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, and TruCarpricing web sites. I filled out a short questionaire on the TruCar website that promised to provide me with an unplublished Dealer invoice price. In order to obtain access to this "special price" I had to select a local dealership who would be notified about my inquiry- I selected FMTS. Enter Bob Rice, internet Sales Associate. Two quick e-mails acknowledging my inquiry regarding the Prius 2 were followed by a thoroughly enjoyable phone conversation. During our conversation, he sent me an e-mail with a proposed sale price for the Prius 2. A decent offer but I informed Bob that I would also be contacting another Toyota dealership to see what sale price they would offer me (this dealership had an identical Prius 2 in stock listed for the exact MSRP). Hearing this, Bob immediately e-mailed me a second proposed sale price. WHOA! Not only was this proposed sale price considerably lower the his first but it was also significantly lower than the fair purchase prices for the Prius 2 posted on the KBB, Edmund's and TruCar web sites. This conversation occurred on Friday afternoon 15 March 2013. I set up an appointment for 1:00 PM, 17 March to get educated about and test drive the Prius. Bob proved to be exceptionally knowledgible, professional in his presentation and acutely humerous- all of which made our decision to purchase this Prius 2 from FMTS a done deal. During lulls in the "paperwork" phase of the Prius purchase, my wife and I were thoroughly engaged in spirited conversation with Bob; at no time did we feel ingnored or relegated to a lower level of attentivness as we finalized the transaction. Much to my satisfaction, Bob also purposely showed me that James Long's name (even though James had little to do with the actual sale of the Prius) along with his were listed on the Prius sales folder as co-sellers of the vehicle- class act. Because Bob lives in the same city as us, he stopped by after work and picked up the transfer license plate to go on my wife's new Prius- one less task for her to do on March 18. Much to my wife's surprise, both James and Bob were waiting for her when she arrived at the FMTS dearship to take delivery of her new 2013 Toyota Prius 2. James conducted the final user demontration and Q & A while Bob added cogent comments and wry observations. So, given our recent sales experience, would we purchase another vehicle from FMTS? Yes. Will we recommend this dealership to friends, co-workers, and others? You bet. Will be recommend to other potential Toyota buyers that the James Long and Bob Rice are the two top-notch sales associates they want to deal with? Definitely. More
