Walked in for a test drive only. Drove away with a new Toyota Corolla thanks to Tania Clements, who was gracious, thorough, and very professional. She was informative without being overwhelming, and there Toyota Corolla thanks to Tania Clements, who was gracious, thorough, and very professional. She was informative without being overwhelming, and there was no pressure put on us to buy "RIGHT NOW!". We were also impressed with Carlos Seminario, the Finance Mgr. who took the time to fully explain each document and answer all of our questions. This will be the first place we will come to when we need another vehicle. More
complete lack of respect and professionalism; too many people involved in one transaction but no one really knows the status of it and in addition you try to reach the people you are working with to close people involved in one transaction but no one really knows the status of it and in addition you try to reach the people you are working with to close a deal and they don't answer their phones or give the same bogus answer of "I'll call you later as soon as I can" or "we have been very busy we were not able to call you back" but then again, I show up to dealership office and mostly every one is inside making jokes and doing a whole lot of nothing and they have the nerve to call us lairs . In a few words; the worst experience ever purchasing a car!!! More
I purchased a used car from Autonation on 5.25-2013. on 5-28-2013 Check engine light came on. I highly REGRET not returning the car at this point! Car Taken in for repairs on 6-6-2013 Car needed $1500 in 5-28-2013 Check engine light came on. I highly REGRET not returning the car at this point! Car Taken in for repairs on 6-6-2013 Car needed $1500 in repairs which was covered by a 60 warranty. (I almost didn't get this car/ at closing the MGR said that the Salesman could not give a 60 warranty on an older vehicle) This was the ONLY reason I decided to buy from Autonation! Brought car in for an oil change on 8-25-2013 and by 8-29-2013 check engine light is on AGAIN, however NO warranty. $432.00 for a new sensor. In calling to speak with Mike Saenz, I was told by the Secretary that I had a Protocol to follow. I thought I was calling Autonation, not the CIA, but ok. She said I needed to speak with a service manager. Sean (Service Manager) Called 9-5-2013. Nothing of any resolve came from this conversation except his wise guy remarks about the check engine light coming on for more reasons than the first problem that I had. I have owned pre-owned vehicles I am %100 aware of that! I have NEVER, EVER bought a pre-owned car and had these issues within the first 6 months to a year, let alone once a month for the first 3 months! I bought this car because I needed a SAFE, RELIABLE CAR. My spouse is in Afghanistan I need to be safe when traveling out of town and realistically if I had the money to blow on car repairs I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED A NEW CAR TOYOTA!!! I have taken the car to my MECHANIC and the repairs will be done by someone who has my best interest and that I CAN TRUST! I really wanted to like this Dealership (I WAS WARNED) but INTEGRITY speaks in VOLUMES! More
Made an online appointment with my regular service adviser. When I arrived I was greeted outside and told I was being assigned to another adviser. I asked the reason why and they could not give me an adviser. When I arrived I was greeted outside and told I was being assigned to another adviser. I asked the reason why and they could not give me an answer. I was asked to wait for the adviser to meet me, so I waited and waited and waited. Finally someone escorted me to another adviser as the one they had assigned me was busy. I explained I was in for a 35,000 mile service and would like an oil/filter change. He said it was not needed as my oil changes were good for 10K miles. I said I did not care I wanted an oil change as I was getting ready for a long trip. So he wrote me up for a 40,000 mile service (not 35K) and said they would rotate the tires. I explained I just bought new tires at Costco and did not need a rotation. He advised I have the alignment checked, I said no, the alignment was fine......So he wrote me up for an Oil/Filter change and 21 point free inspection. After about 45 minutes the adviser came looking for me. Work was done as I asked. However, brake fluid and PS fluid were a little low and might need attention. ATTENTION, give me a brake. HOW ABOUT saying they were low and we topped them off. NO OFFER TO BRING THEM UP TO THE PROPER LEVEL. I have dealt with this dealership since 2005 and ever since they were taken over by Autonation I have seen a slow decline in customer focused attention. As the car, (2012 Prius) is about to turn 36K miles I am not sure I will continue taking it to them for service. More
First of all when I called for an appointment I explained to the service writer what I needed. OFL, tire rotation and window tint on drivers side to be replaced since it was defective when I bought the car. to the service writer what I needed. OFL, tire rotation and window tint on drivers side to be replaced since it was defective when I bought the car. She told me she would contact my salesman, Skip Sinclair, get his approval and take care of it while I was there. I called Skip and he said to come and see him first, which I did and he went with me to the service center. They could not find any work order so they took me to a different part of the dealership where they found the work order. Skip authorized the tint replacement and asked Mark to take care of it. When Mark saw me in the hallway an hour later he said he didn't have time to get the tint done and I should go back to Skip as this was his job. Very sloppy, not handled well at all leaving me to take care of something that was the service departments job. Went back over to see Skip and he and the receptionist made an appointment for me to get the tint done this Friday at 1 pm. Now I am inconvenienced again having to go back and wait. Looked at the paper work that was given to me after the oil change and the yellow page that is supposed to be checked off showing an inspection was done is blank! This is supposed to be checked off every detail so that I know all is well and yet it was left blank which means they didn't do the inspection. This was my first visit to your service department and I have to say, may be my last. I really don't care to be treated like a second class citizen and that's how this made me feel. More
When I left, after an oil change service, where the tires had been rotated, there was bad vibration at highway speed. My local mechanic told me that all four wheels were way out of balance. I am surprised th had been rotated, there was bad vibration at highway speed. My local mechanic told me that all four wheels were way out of balance. I am surprised that the wheel balance isn't checked when they rotate the tires. Also had the impression they were trying to sell me other services which might not be necessary. Either way I am left with the impression that they cannot be relied on. More

After coming in with a competitors deal, the salesman, who was very nice and helpful, went back and forth at least four times with the sales manager trying to make it work. The problem was that after the who was very nice and helpful, went back and forth at least four times with the sales manager trying to make it work. The problem was that after the second go round, their offer was not changing, and it was still $2500 away from the competition! We had everything in place, we knew what payment we wanted and how much we wanted to pay for the car. When, after over an hour, the sales manager(his name tag said Chris from Sarasota) came over, he started right away to insult our intelligence. His argument was that if we paid less for a new car and drove off the lot and got in an accident, or someone stole it, that we would end up losing money because the insurance would only cover so much...Then he started to insult and bad mouth the competitors' sales manager and stated that he wouldn't be able to keep his job for long. He then warned us that we were going to drive across the state and get suckered in because there is now way possible that the competition could sell cars at those prices. We literally walked out on him and never looked back. By the way, we went on to Mike Erdman Toyota and got exactly the deal we had worked out over the phone in about two minutes and we could not be happier. If you are thinking about buying a Toyota in Florida, Mike Erdman is the place! Jeff More
Greg Minda was the best sales person we have ever had. He was really friendly and helped us find the right vehicle for our price range. His sales manager Rick Pintus was great also he did the best he could t was really friendly and helped us find the right vehicle for our price range. His sales manager Rick Pintus was great also he did the best he could to get us approved and with both of their hard work we were able to drive away in a 2013 Toyota Tundra that we truly love. Thank you so much for your dedication and hard work to make us happy. There is not a high enough rating for our time at Autonation Toyota. We will be back for our next vehicle. Hope they will be ready for us again! More
