There are two issues (both have to do with pricing) that have not been resolved from the 1/5/2023 service. 1) Was quoted $49.98 over the phone to install the driver's side sun visor and was then charged $83 have not been resolved from the 1/5/2023 service. 1) Was quoted $49.98 over the phone to install the driver's side sun visor and was then charged $83.88 when I arrived at the dealer and 2) Was initially quoted $10 per bulb for the front daytime running lights and was later informed over the phone that the cost was $48.70 per bulb. I called and left a total of three messages for two seperate service managers with no response as of yet. Very disappointing to say the least. More
If I could give less than 1 star I would. This was my go to Dealership but after my last two services I am done with Toyota Cerritos. They did a recall last year for my3rd break light and it failed at 14 months and they wanted to charge me over $1300 to replace it. It was improperly installed and the tech broke the post on it torquing it too much which led to it cracking all of the way around and falling off. They told me it was my fault. I bought a replacement and had my mechanic install it for a $400 and as soon as he got the headliner down the broken post fell out and the cover fell off. It was 100% Toyota Of Cerritos that improperly did the recall on it. I called Toyota Customer Care and they told me that the Service manager would call me within 1 business day. Its been 5 days and I have called 5 times to talk to the Service manager but she is too busy or just will not talk to me. I just wanted to show the pictures and videos that my Mechanic took documenting the failed light and to see if they would at least hear me out but no call, no email, Nothing. Their service has gone way down over the last 2 years and I will not be taking my Tacoma there ever again. I have bought 2 brand new Tacoma's from AutoNation and I will not be buying a 3rd from them or Toyota of Cerritos period. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will not be going back there ever. More
