I made an appointment specifically to solve the issue of the 4-Lo indicator light blinking, which happens randomly when I drive my 2008 Land Cruiser. During a test drive by a technician, the 4-Lo light did the 4-Lo indicator light blinking, which happens randomly when I drive my 2008 Land Cruiser. During a test drive by a technician, the 4-Lo light did not come on or blink and thus the issue was not resolved. However, the technician did say I needed all the fluids replaced. SO....$1200 dollars later ON MY DRIVE HOME FROM THE DEALER, the 4-Lo light starts blinking!!!! I still have the problem I came in with. I guess the technicians don't take the owner's word for an indicator light being on. A simple online search resulted in several explanations for why the 4-Lo indicator light would blink on a 2008 Land Cruiser, i.e., it means the 4 wheel drive is not working. I am disappointed that the dealer and technician/service department did not proceed with addressing the potential problems that would cause this. (It's not like the indicator light makes a noise of some kind that the technician would need to HEAR). I dropped the vehicle off at 12:15 and was told I'd receive a call when the technician had a chance to look at it. By 3:30, I hadn't received any information so I went to the service desk to inquire about the status of my vehicle. It was getting late in the day and they needed to keep the car overnight. In short, my experience was less than satisfactory. And my vehicle still has the same problem it did when I went in. More
I always have good service when I take my car in to this dealership. The only thing they forgot to do was close the lid on the window washer fluid cup.
