I brought my 2010 Prius in after warning of hybrid system failure. I new this wasn’t going to be good. Luckily the repair was covered under a Toyota TSB, technical service bulletin. The needed parts were failure. I new this wasn’t going to be good. Luckily the repair was covered under a Toyota TSB, technical service bulletin. The needed parts were on back order. But Toyota and our service tech Jeremy took care of us with great communication and a paid rental car for nearly two weeks. The parts came in and work was done promptly. Returning the rental and picking up our Prius went very smoothly. Great service! More
The customer service people were very friendly but I asked two or three times about getting a tire leak fixed and it was not. Had so level of difficulty in communicating with the Service Advisor to find out the status of my car's repair. Although we experienced an sudden engine cutoff while driving and subsequent restart for no discernible reason, the dealer was unable to identify the reason or propose a possible scenario. The vehicle was returned to us with the suggestion that we bring it back if the problem happened again. Scary for my wife. Since no clear mechanical problem could be identified, I would guess that some uncommon combination of events triggered a momentary fail mode in the engine computer that resulted in a complete draining of the battery over night. More
