We've been loyal to this service dept for nearly 8 years now, but they may need to review how they handle appointments and communication. I dropped the car off for 9am appointment, basic oil change, rep now, but they may need to review how they handle appointments and communication. I dropped the car off for 9am appointment, basic oil change, rep said about 2 hours. I got a Lyft to work (nice feature) but by 2pm had not been called. I called 3 times before getting through to anyone, he put me on hold, then the next person said they're still working on it, and recommended additional items. When I questioned why it took 5 hours to even consult me, he said they "got busy" and said that since I dropped it off (instead of sitting there waiting), they entered it as "need it by closing." I hitched a ride back to the dealer, then waited a bit longer. No one on the service team commented or apologized for how long it took. I get it, things happen, but why take appointments if you aren't prioritizing them throughout the day? We currently own 2 Subaru's, both purchased there, and they could easily have known we're regular customers. More
