I’ve leased and leased to purchase two vehicles from Denver West Subaru, as well as have taken my vehicles only to the service department there for tires and repairs for over 15 years. I’ve never experi Denver West Subaru, as well as have taken my vehicles only to the service department there for tires and repairs for over 15 years. I’ve never experienced the total lack of curtesy like I did this time when dropping off my vehicle for a simple tire check. I made an appointment for 7:30 and dropped my vehicle off overnight as a convenience for myself. I called at 9:30 because I hadn’t heard from anyone regarding the status of my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle had not been seen yet because the customers that were waiting in the waiting room had preference over me, despite having a 7:30 appointment. I asked when I can expect my car to be seen and I was told, in a very disrespectful manner, there was not a time estimate since I dropped off my car. I had not intended on leaving my car all day so I was frustrated. Again, I did not drop it off as a convenience for the service department. In fact, I am an OR nurse and I was oncall that night so had to use my husband’s car over night and he took it to work that day. I feel as though I was very patient in waiting until 9:30 to check on a potential tire leak, which I had, and by no means was rude or pushy when I called. I simply wanted to know a timeframe. Had it been a bigger issue going on with my car, then I would have planned on it potentially being there longer. Additionally, my husband a teacher, was contacted repeatedly throughout the morning despite me being the primary car owner/ contact, leaving my number on the drop slip, and left my number again when I called the first time. He had to try and coordinate what was being relayed to him back to me all while trying to teach his class. In the past, he has coordinated other repairs with the service department when I’ve been working; however, this time I did not specify to contact him. I hope this episode of poor courtesy is a fluke and not a trend, again, I’ve not experienced any issues like it in over 15 years. And I’m not looking for anyone to get into trouble. I trust the work that is done on my vehicle and, I will continue to buy Subarus and utilize the service department as long as I continue to be taken care of and respected as a customer. More
