Some type of module was not working so the module needed replacing also. December 21st is the last day I received a text or a phone call about my car. My service advisor, Austin ended up getting sick and all communication seized from that point on. I am sorry that Austin was sick, but someone should pick up the slack in this situation. The module needed to be ordered. Due to shipping it took a while for the module to come in. I can understand shipping taking a while, especially around the holiday. I do not know if the module has arrived at AutoNation Subaru since they do not call me. I called at the end of day on December 22nd and at the end of day on December 23rd. I was told on December 23rd that the part still had not come in and it should be here on Monday, December 27th. So, I called on December 27th. The part has still not come in. I talked to a Mike (I don't know the last name) and asked why I am the one always calling about my car. Shouldn't someone from AutoNation Subaru's Service department call me and give me updates? He was a bit oblivious about this. He said that if the part came in on December 28th, they would get the car fixed on that day. Same with the 29th of December. At 5 am on December 29th, I get this survey asking how AutoNation Subaru did. You tell me, how did you do? Would you be satisfied with this service? Is my car ready to be picked up? Based on this, I will be going to a competitor for future service and recall needs. I can understand a part not coming in. What I can't understand is the lack of communication. I feel like AutoNation Subaru does not value my business. I have choices and I plan on using them. More
Taylor was so helpful. Explained everything to me and made suggestions. It was fun seeing everyone wearing festive outfits for the holiday season. Brought my new Outback in for it’s 6000 mile service. Oil change, filter, tire rotation, and inspection. I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled service and waited over two hours. The service coordinator change, filter, tire rotation, and inspection. I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled service and waited over two hours. The service coordinator was friendly and courteous. It seemed a long time for the service but it was my first experience with AutoNation, so maybe they take a while to do a complete job. The service coordinator let us know the car was ready, so we took possession and left the dealership. We stopped at a shop on the way home and when we started the car, I was met with the messages that I need an oil change, filter, and inspection. I figured that it might take a little time for the indicators to reset. The indicators didn’t reset over the rest of the day. I called AutoNation and told them. Their response was that they would reset the indicators the next time I stop by. I told them that I live a long way from the dealership and could they just tell me how to reset it. I was told that I could look it up on YouTube. I said I’d work it out myself and they wished me a good day. No apology for the inconvenience. I felt like I was taking up their time. Not impressed with my first service visit. And yes, it was easy to reset the indicators, but I shouldn’t have had to. More
