Took my 2016 Forester in for a free update with my Starlink program - they were able to get me the appointment when I had time off from work. I had a very early appointment and the service area opened right on time. After pulling in, I was immediately met by a specialist to see why I was there and promptly checked in. Originally I was informed it could take 6 hours for the program update and they normally wanted the car all day. I was concerned because I didn't have a ride and would have to wait since they didn't have the shuttle program, but it only took about 4 hours. More

To start off with I had a ten o'clock appointment at Auto Nation and they were aware I would be waiting for the vehicle. I own a 2001 Impreza Outback which was stolen and recovered. Part of the ignition was Nation and they were aware I would be waiting for the vehicle. I own a 2001 Impreza Outback which was stolen and recovered. Part of the ignition was ripped out and the driver side lock was pried open. I knew the problem and was aware they would have to order parts. Sure enough 5 hours later I was told it needs parts ordered and the job to fix the ignition and change locks would cost $1500. It is an older Subaru but the engine has practically been rebuilt and it runs just fine. The sales associate asked me if that was the only transportation I have as if I've got a spare 10 vehicles lying around. I've resulted to starting the car with a screw driver and I asked if that work until the repairs were made, his reply was "until it doesn't ". Excuse me but my 1500 is probably worth more than customers driving a $40000 Subaru. Then apparently my car was sent to a different service lot and I waited 45 minuted for it to be delivered. I waited for the sales associate to come out and discuss the issues and instead another guy came out and said he was multitasking today and had other customers and I would be contacted. Since then haven't heard a word about the parts or an appointment. I've decided to take my $1500 to Schomp where I am treated with respect. The only reason I tried Auto Nation is because service is open on Mondays. More
