Although our car was kept for 8 days (much to my chagrin) due to a delayed part order, Rustin Owens kept us appraised of the status of the part delivery and when the car would be ready. Aside and apart from due to a delayed part order, Rustin Owens kept us appraised of the status of the part delivery and when the car would be ready. Aside and apart from the work being performed on our Nissan Murano, the mechanic strongly recommended to Rustin that we replace an air intake boot however, I declined due to price of the part and our sense of urgency in getting our car back. When I went to pick up the car, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Rustin had taken the initiative, expensed the intake boot and had it installed as a courtesy and, I suspect, as a way of appeasing us due to the length of time our car was in the shop. This was above and beyond what I would have ever expected from a service advisor from any dealership! This kind act has earned our repeat business. More
Brought my vehicle in for a check of an issue with overheating. My advisor never really contacted me and sent me vague text messages about the issue and quoted an astronomical price for a replacement overheating. My advisor never really contacted me and sent me vague text messages about the issue and quoted an astronomical price for a replacement of a cooling fan. When i went back to the shop to meet him, he was not there and instead closed out the file. Like, o.k. That was pretty presumptive. The main issues are: The replacement part was about $100 more than if I bought it ala carte. O.k. Whatever. However the amount of time quoted to do the work was 4 hours when dealer guides for this replacement were only an hour and a half. When i spoke to other shops, they laughed at a 4 hour work order time for replacing a fan. It’s a shame, really. I had a great experience with this place before but it seems like they are fine losing service customers in favor of warranty work, which nets better profits for the shop. Anyway, what a bummer. Also, if my advisor wasn’t so disconnected and would have given me at least a rational explanation, you wouldn’t be reading this. So yeah, do your homework on this place. More
