I I am writing to share my extremely disappointing experience with the service department at AutoNation Nissan on 5800 W Sahara, Las Vegas, Nevada. I believe the department operates dishonestly, and I want to warn others about their practices. I purchased my Nissan Murano from this dealership in 2017 and have always had my car serviced there. On November 26, I brought my car in for a routine oil change. My service advisor was Andrew. At that time, everything seemed fine. However a few days later, on November 30, I noticed a loud knocking sound and shaking from my car. Concerned, I immediately returned to the dealership and spoke with Andrew. He informed me that no one could inspect the car until Monday, so they would need to keep it over the weekend. I paid for a rental car provided by the dealership. Later that day, I received a video from a mechanic stating with certainty that the issue was the control arms. He said it was "100 percent" the cause of the problem. However, when I followed up with Andrew about repair costs, he claimed the car needed new axles and an alignment in addition to the control arms. The total estimate was over $4,000. Suspicious, I asked for proof regarding the axle issue. After some delay, they produced a video showing one damaged axle but insisted both axles needed replacement. Feeling pressured, I decided to leave the car with them over the weekend while considering my options. On Monday, I returned to retrieve my car and met with Chris, the service manager. He then added that my transmission was making noise and might need replacement. This raised the estimated repair cost to $12,000! Chris also suggested I trade in my car for a new one, which Manny, the sales manager, reinforced. They assured me they were acting in my best interest, but I felt manipulated. I chose to get a second opinion. A trusted local mechanic determined that the only issue was the left axle. All other components were in perfect condition, and the repair was completed for a mere fraction of the quoted cost. I feel deeply betrayed by AutoNation Nissan's service department. Their misrepresentation of my car's condition could have cost me thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I strongly urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this dealership and their service department. BUYER BEWARE!!! More
Maria Mejia is an excellent service advisor. She has helped me several times in a fashion that was above my expectations. She has helped me several times in a fashion that was above my expectations. More
I honestly only ever show up to this dealership because of the general manager MANNIE. Great leader, very professional, handles any and everything with great time management. A huge plus is the workers are of the general manager MANNIE. Great leader, very professional, handles any and everything with great time management. A huge plus is the workers are also amazing, I never get the run around when I come here all of the employees are so attentive. As a woman it’s important to have a place that will take care of you and not take my money without being thorough and make sure I understand what’s happening with my car. This is a great place to get your car serviced. They really take care of you! Without Mannie I would’ve never had the pleasure to see how good of a dealership they are. More
There is one staff member, Andrew, who is extremely incompetent as my previous visit, he lost my keys. When I took a second chance, this past June, I did make a comment under my breath that I did not w incompetent as my previous visit, he lost my keys. When I took a second chance, this past June, I did make a comment under my breath that I did not want to deal with this individual, but as the computer system was down, I had no choice. he was rude and abrasive but again, I had no choice. I was told one to three hours for a simple oil change, which is ridiculous. I was not asking for any extra services other than the oil change. When I went to inquire after two hours , the service manager pulled me aside and told me flat out he did not appreciate me calling his staff incompetent and told me to take my business elsewhere. I immediately went and talk to the sales manager, from which I had purchased one 2023 vehicle, and three used vehicles from that specific dealership for cash. Between the sales manager and the dealership general manager, they both agreed being told to take my business elsewhere was not appropriate under any circumstance I will concede that I may not have been correct and stating my feelings about the staff member, however, again he was incompetent because it took another 30 minutes to get my vehicle pulled up after I was told it was done . I took my 2024 Nissan Frontier with less than 600 miles in to the service department at AutoNation Nissan Las Vegas to have them look at an issue with the AC system emanating a nasty smell. The first thing in to the service department at AutoNation Nissan Las Vegas to have them look at an issue with the AC system emanating a nasty smell. The first thing that David Tran the service agent told me without even looking at the issue was that it would cost me $150 to replace the cabin filter. I told him that I just bought the truck less than a week ago and it should be covered by the bumper to bumper warranty. He refused and told me it would cost me for them to look at the problem. I would never use this dealership for anything in the future if this is how they treat their customers. More
