Beware: The AutoNation Nissan Chandler (AZ) service department does not routinely follow up on callers or even return phone calls when asking for information about announced recalls. I have been receiv department does not routinely follow up on callers or even return phone calls when asking for information about announced recalls. I have been receiving emails and letters from NissanUSA alerting me that my model Nissan has an open recall and to contact my dealer for scheduling an appointment to apply the remedy. These notices specifically stated that they already had a remedy and to schedule the visit. However, when I contacted the dealer, they informed me that NissanUSA did not yet have a remedy in place, despite the notices I received stating the opposite. This has been going on for 3 months. Just this past month, I received 2 more notices from NissanUSA asking again that I schedule the repair visit. After I called and left 3 messages with 2 service department people, including the manager, I called NissanUSA and discussed the matter with them. They informed me the remedy had been forwarded 2 months ago to all Nissan dealers, including the 3 in my area. They then tried to contact my dealer themselves while I was on the phone with them but said they were unable to locate anyone to speak with who had any knowledge about the recall and its remedy. I then called the dealer again and asked that whoever handled this matter call me back to schedule the remedy. No one ever called me back that day nor the day after. So, I called another local dealer (East Valley Nissan) and was able to schedule my car the following day to apply the recall remedy. Problem solved. I will no longer deal with AutoNation Nissan Chandler for any future vehicle needs I may have. More

Advisor was super friendly and seemed accommodating until it was time to pick up vehicle. Prices were ridiculously high, requested services not performed, recommended services overpriced and not necessary an it was time to pick up vehicle. Prices were ridiculously high, requested services not performed, recommended services overpriced and not necessary and vehicle not available as promised. Advisor recommended services that were not needed and when questioned he made up information attempting to justify recommendations. Had return two times in the next 10 days to have services completed correctly. Being nice doesn’t disguise lies, shoddy work or price gouging. Awful, insulting and disrespectful experience. More
