Brought my car in for a radiator fan issue. Just turning on the cabin fan (nothing else on climate control is on) turns on the radiator fan at full (and loud) speed. Anytime driving the car the radiator fan is running all the time at full speed, even in sub freezing temperatures. The service department had my care for a week - and only after I called did I find out they were testing the climate control system and the cabin fan. I took the service manager out for a spin, and got the standard, that is how it is supposed to work, the fan is electric, etc., etc., So nothing was fixed, I was out $500 (I had to rent a car for that week). I have spoken to a few other 2023 Hyundai Palisades owners and actually compared with another owner of the exact same car. Cars were at running temperature. As soon as I turned on my cabin fan (only) the radiator fan would kick into high speed. No other owner reported this issue, and neither did my neighbor (who owns the exact same car). I love the car, but service stinks. More

Manager was as perplexed as I was regarding a corporate required inspection for a recall issue on my auto that was repaired by another m occasions. He had his mechanic perform what we both hope will satisfy this portion of the corporation’s requirement toward my reimbursement of cost of repair. My first visit to AutoNation regarding this issue was 3 months ago when I stopped by to schedule an appointment. First available time was 03/02/2023, a 3 month wait! How this issue is resolved by Hyundai corporation will determine whether I will purchase another Hyundai when my need for a new auto comes around, and based on my 2 visits to AutoNation I believe I would be wise to buy from them when that time comes. More
