All around worst maintenance experience I have ever had! To begin, the lady that scheduled my appointment was rude on the phone. They had to order the parts and said they would be there by the middle of the week and that they would call when the parts arrived, but let me pay for them in advance of course. Its the end of the week and still no call, so I start calling and nobody answers the phone all day after several attempts to contact them. So I call again on Monday and they say "Oh yea, we have your parts". Well, when were you going to let me know?? They tried to make me wait another week and a half to bring my car in but I managed to get an earlier appointment. When my car was done I checked the undercarriage to make sure they installed my new air dam which had been broken off and was very obviously missing, but it still wasn't there. They tell me "that piece is called a skid plate not an air dam". Well then xxx did I just pay for?? And why didn't you let me know the correct piece that needed replacing after you inspected my car?! They also kinda seem like they don't know anything about why anyone is in the store as if there is a major lack of communication between departments. Very disorganized and just an overall terrible operation here. The only reason I even came to this place is because I had such a positive maintenance experience at another Hyundai dealership in another state. Anyway, this place will never see my car again and I will not be giving them another cent. Bought a AutoNation Certified truck from this dealership a few weeks ago. Started having mechanical problems with it 3 days after I got it so I took it into my local AutoNation dealership to have it worked a few weeks ago. Started having mechanical problems with it 3 days after I got it so I took it into my local AutoNation dealership to have it worked on since it is still under the AutoNation Certified 90 day / 4000 mile warranty. The truck has been sitting in the shop the entire time since then because this dealership refuses to acknowledge the warranty and keeps ignoring calls from the service department at my local dealership. If you want to be sold an unreliable vehicle and be lied to just so they can make a sale, this is the place for you. More
Initially I bought my 2018 Elantra here and it was a smooth and pleasant experience. Never had any issues but I recently had my AC go out on me. Within the warranty period so no cost to me as I was told. The only downside is the wait time to get my car fixed. Almost a month due to apparent low staffing and the part had to be ordered. Was told it would take a few days to come in but it went well over a week. Then was told once it arrived I would be called to schedule my car to come in. Well no one called and I had to call. Part was in but no one called me. Then I have to wait for a later day to bring it in. Sept 22nd I was scheduled to being it in and October 12th is when I get the official day they can work on it. Was asked of I could leave it there but cannot due to this vehicle is my only transportation. Was then told I could rent a car. So mind you, part is covered under warranty but I have to pay for my own rental car when the part should never have gone out. So been a month almost since my AC has been going out, hot weather. Feels like I am in college again. I do feel service could have been better, especially communication. Really have no choice, either pay 800 at Firestone or wait for the warranty service. Disappointing that makes me wonder if people came in well after me, were put ahead of me because a part had not arrived and I was not called once the part arrived. Still, my car is under warranty which makes me happy and the initial sale of my car was a great experience. Service area though, needs improvement. More
