This was my 1st visit to this location since I am a very recent owner of Hyundai. It was very unusual experience for me and I tend to re-think my stereotypical opinion. I am foreigner and so far I had very poor experiences with dealerships and shops in general. As a rule they will always try to convince you to purchase/repair something totally useless, apply pressure on you ect, even if you are (or look like a) native southerner. Not to mention the attitude and the prejudices toward people speaking with an accent. Moreover, in my case I was visiting for air bag system recall on a car which I purchased with 133K and it isn’t in great cosmetic condition at all(so far better mechanical condition than I could expect though). I was expecting they will do anything possible to deny this service. Well…I was wrong. Michael Childress treated me with respect from the very beginning and was very helpful during the whole process. Everything was very easygoing and painless so at some point I was thinking already that it’s to good to be true. I am really impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. I was given a brand new loaner car with ~900 miles on it to drive for a week until my car is fixed. Besides that they found another malfunction on the brakes and fixed it for free. It probably sounds prosaic and someone would say “well, they just did what they had to do”. To some extent it is true. Sad, but true. However there is another truth: there are very few places left in my opinion where they will do what they have to whenever it comes to car repair. That’s why I am doing everything possible myself. Also last but not least. Bryan was the technician working on my car (not sure about his family name - I hope he’ll excuse me). After two days I realized I forgot the GPS and my garage door opener in the car. He was very friendly and nicely let me go the service area to take the stuff I needed from the car. I guess he’s the one to notice there was defect in the brakes so special thanks to him. My car was returned washed and the wheels were thoroughly cleaned. In summary I had a great experience with this first visit to Jin Hudson Hyundai. Thank you to the entire team and keep up the good job. I will for sure recommend Jim Hudson Hyundai and Mike Childress as a service advisor and Bryan as service technician in the future to all my friends and family. More
I drove by the dealership and decided to stop in. I was just looking around and not really planning on buying anything. Marshall came out to talk to me, and he was very nice and helpful. Traveled from Charlotte NC to look at a used car on the lot. The car ended up not being a fit for what we were looking for but Henry was absolutely great. I would recommend asking for him personally when you call to schedule a test drive, whether new or used. It's nice to know there are a few gentlemen left in the industry and Henry's honesty and demeanor are what prompted me to promise him a review on here. More

We originally brought our Hyundai Vericruz in for service (1st Class Service department as well - we have used for the past 6 years faithfully) and spur of the moment we decided to trade. Scott Kirby our Service Advisor put us in touch with John Cook. I spoke with John over the phone and told him what my wife and I were looking for. When we arrived back at the dealership he had the make, model, and package parked at the front door. John quoted us a price, got us a very trade in value, found the exterior and interior color we wanted and had us a new Santa Fe in 36 hours. The experience with John Cook and Amy Renner (Finance Manager) was professional and pleasant. This is our second Jim Hudson Hyundai but not our last. More
