I began my horrible experience with Treadwell Honda by requesting an Internet price on a 2013 Honda Accord V6 coupe. I was contacted by phone within 10 mins by Ron Getto. This seemed like a good response requesting an Internet price on a 2013 Honda Accord V6 coupe. I was contacted by phone within 10 mins by Ron Getto. This seemed like a good response. I explained to him what exactly I was looking for in a vehicle. I then explained to him that I would have a trade-in vehicle and gave him the details of my trade-in vehicle. I asked him if he could give me a generalized trade value for my vehicle to see if it was going to be worth my commute to Mobile to actually work a deal. He then told me that was not possible, although I have done this with other dealers in the past over the phone/Internet. I mean what's the point of Internet sales if they can not give a non-binding estimate over phone/Internet. Most car buyers are trading in a vehicle. He became rude and loud over the phone as if I was asking for a verbal/phone contract w/o actually seeing my trade. I ended the phone call by telling him I would find another Honda dealer to deal with. After hanging up the phone, a coworker sitting about 5-6 ft from me "at the time of the call" looked at me with a "WOW" look. She could hear his loud and rude comments. She and I agreed I should talk to a manager about the call. I mean whoever hears of a rude car salesperson? They are usually very nice depending on commission. So I called and asked for a manager. I was then contacted with Keith Shepard. He seemed like a good person. He apologized for what he called a "mis-communication" on Ron Getto's part. He than took my detailed info on my trade vehicle. He emailed me a quote about 30mins later. The quote was not bad,but of course I wanted more.he said he would have to physically see my vehicle. I said "no problem." I showed up 2 days later. Keith Shepard appraised my trade and made the same offer. I asked for a little more. Keith Shepard said he would call me back in a couple of hours. That did not happen. I showed up the next morning ready to buy. I was hoping for a couple of hundred more for my trade but was willing to purchase at initial offer. When I arrived I asked for Keith Shepard . So here he comes,hand out, ready to shake mine. He immediately tells me that my trade value just dropped $1500 in less than 24hrs. WHAT? This does not happen! Keith Shepard is full of feces. He apparently offered too much for my trade. One of his superiors realized and told him to fix the situation. All he could do is continue to lie! Very shady dealership. I will recommend my WORST enemy to Treadwell Honda and Keith Shepard. More

I went to this dealership from a recommendation only to have the oil changed in my CRV but what I got was lies about what my car needed beside a oil change. When the service man came back to me,my car need have the oil changed in my CRV but what I got was lies about what my car needed beside a oil change. When the service man came back to me,my car needed more than $300 of work. The same work I just had done before I came to Mobile,al.. I will never use this place again ever. I also told the person who recommended this dealership about the lies and hope they will never use this dealership anymore. More
I have been a customer of Treadwell Honda/Joe Sutter for 12 years now. My lease was going to be up in a few months on my 2011 Accord. I received a call from Joe telling me just he got in a 2013 Black Tourin 12 years now. My lease was going to be up in a few months on my 2011 Accord. I received a call from Joe telling me just he got in a 2013 Black Touring. I went down and checked it out expecting that I would have to wait until closer to my lease being up. This was definitely NOT the case. Joe and the entire sales team worked tirelessly to get me out of my current lease early and trade up to this one! The entire experience went perfectly from the initial contact to finance to delivery. I could NOT be more happy with my decision. The service department also deserves equal praise. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and very competitive on their prices without compromising work quality. I have recommended several friends to them and they have been just as happy as me! Treadwell Honda is the BEST dealership in Mobile!! More

Made initial contact with Joe Sutter, Internet Sales Manager, online. We traded a few emails about cars he had. I drove two hours to get there. Decided that I like the car. I purchased a 2006 Toyota 4 Runner and a 2003 ES 300 Lexus in the same afternoon about three months ago. within the first few days of driving the Lexus I realized the front passenger window only worked Lexus in the same afternoon about three months ago. within the first few days of driving the Lexus I realized the front passenger window only worked when it wanted to, the rear passenger window didn't work at all, one tail light out, washer fluid didn't work. the car didn't ride well so I brought it to Trax Tires thinking the tires needed to be balanced, after they checked the tires they realized the back right rim was bent and needed to be repaired. When they went to get the spare tire out they realized the spare tire was not there. the Dealership did finally agree to pay 125.00 towards repairing rim. I still have not received a check for that??? I took the car back to have all the issues fixed and received a call later that afternoon telling me that the repairs were going to cost me around 1,400.00 to fix and that the Extended Warranty I purchased would not cover any of the repairs needed. I replied that if I was the Warranty Company I wouldn't cover them either do to the fact that the Dealer should have fixed these problems before selling the car. i tried to explain to the service rep that same thing and he said I needed to speak to the Sales Manager, it took two days and three phone calls to reach the manager. after telling the manager everything wrong with with the car his reply was that I purchased a used car as is. I asked the manager if they did an inspection on the car before putting it on the lot and he said yes, I asked the sales person that same question the day I bought the car and her reply was the same yes everything works. my reply was if that were true they should at least know there was no spare tire, I also said that who ever it was they were having inspect the cars before selling them needed to be fired!!!! I can go on and on but I would hope anyone that reads this would get the point. Don't Buy A Used or any Car for that matter from Treadwell Honda because they don't stand behind the Cars they SELL. More
I bought this vehicle for my wife at Treadwell Honda primarily (at first) because it was linked to USAA Buying Service which I heartily endorse. Ron and John could not have been more professional, finding the exact car she wanted which was then ferried over from a Pensacola dealer rather than waiting 5 weeks for an order. John spent some time with my wife (not a tekkie) going over the navigation system, blue tooth, etc which meant I did not have to take this on ...which probably would have destroyed a marriage! The price was excellent, there was no concerted push for "add ons" and the warranty deal was presented well and completely. Totally seamless and we were on our way with no hinderances. Thanks to Ron and John, great experience from a discerning buyer who has been known to walk out of dealerships during negotiations!!! More
I couldn't have been happier with my experience from start to finish. At no point did I feel like I was getting the traditional sales pitch that you might expect, or the pressure that sometimes comes a start to finish. Both Mr. Getto and Mr. Hinkle took the time to make sure I was making the best decision for my situation. Every option that was available to me was put on paper, and they both took the time to make sure I not only understood everything, but was comfortable with it. Not only was I happy with the experience I had at the time of purchase, but they continue to make sure I don't have any questions about the vehicle and I am satisfied with my choice. I won't bother using another dealership, or any other salesmen than Mr. Getto and/or Mr. Hinkle when the time comes for a new car. More
