Great service from beginning to end. Trust this dealership and felt comfortable here unlike at other dealerships. Will definitely recommend this dealership! Trust this dealership and felt comfortable here unlike at other dealerships. Will definitely recommend this dealership! More
The whole experience was great. Nick was very friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and go over the service questions I had. After my last visit, I wasn't sure if Nick was very friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and go over the service questions I had. After my last visit, I wasn't sure if I was going to continue to come to this dealership to get my car serviced. I decided to try 1 more time before looking elsewhere and I'm pleased to say based on my last visit I will most definitely be coming back when my car needs to be serviced again. More

I live an hour away from this dealership and there are dealers much closer to me but I prefer to drive an hour to go to AutoNation Honda Valencia. I think that says a lot about how good they are. Spend over 400$ having my car serviced and my car was left filthy. Oil was all over the hood of the car. You could not take the time to give me a free car wash. We purchased our 2017 Honda CR-V from AutoNation Honda Valencia 5 1/2 years ago, trading in our 2009 Honda CR-V that we had owned for almost 8 years. That is two vehicles purchased, and over 13 years of s Valencia 5 1/2 years ago, trading in our 2009 Honda CR-V that we had owned for almost 8 years. That is two vehicles purchased, and over 13 years of servicing them at this dealership. I called the phone number for their service department to make an appointment for an oil change and a multi-point inspection and was told that the soonest time available was in 10 days, at 10:00 a.m. So I booked the appointment and asked how much it would cost. I brought the vehicle in on the date and time of the appointment and waited until 10:25 a.m. when a Service Advisor was available to check me in. We then went to his desk, whereupon he began by telling me that the price I was quoted was a special that had ended, and the price for the oil change was now higher. I asked why I wasn’t told that when I called (after all, they picked the date and time of the appointment and surely would have known when a “special” would end). He said that the people who book the appointments work in a call center in Nevada and don’t know the prices. He then told me that most vehicles need an engine air filter and a cabin air filter when serviced; and “would I like to pre-authorize those?” When I asked how much they cost I was told $139.99. I told him that I anticipated this conversation, and checked on the price of the two filters at the parts desk while I was waiting to be seen. The cost of both filters is $60.00 (they are $38.00 at Auto Zone). So I told him that for $80.00 (or $102.00) I would purchase and install them myself. I was then asked to sign an estimate for the service that seemed too high. When I asked why the estimate was that high I was told that he included a tire rotation. I then asked why he included a service that I had not requested, nor was ever disclosed to me. He said he could remove it. No kidding! But that’s not the entire point. Finally, at 10:35 a.m., I was told they were busy and that the service would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete! Around 1:30 p.m. I received a text showing pictures of the dirty cabin and engine air filters on my vehicle. I didn’t respond (since we already had this conversation). About 10 minutes later I receive another text advising me that the Service Technician recommends replacing the two filters, and that the cost is $139.99. So I reply that “we have already had this conversation and I will purchase the parts and install them on my own; just let me know when the car is ready.” He replied that the car was ready (this was about 1:50 p.m.). So I drove over to the dealership and met the Service Advisor at 2:00 p.m., signed the paperwork, and get sent to the Cashier’s desk to pay. However, no one is at the Cashier’s desk. We stand there for 5 to 10 minutes with other employees walking by telling us “the Cashier will be right back” (which is an assumption on their part; they have no idea). After the Service Advisor sees us still standing at the Cashier’s desk he comes over and takes us back to his desk to pay. During the process, he tells me that he can always get me a 10% to 20% discount off of service. Of course, he couldn’t honor the price I was initially quoted for the oil change. Go figure. This is not our first underwhelming experience with the service department at AutoNation Honda Valencia. Maybe there is no one person to blame for always being overbooked, or understaffed, or undertrained, or slow; or maybe there is. But when an oil change routinely takes 3 to 4 hours, there is something wrong with the process. The cost of installing two air filters is absurd (and they are pushing this service all day long). I doubt we will be back! And if we don’t go back for service that also means we won’t be going back to purchase vehicles! More
