This place doesn’t strike me as aiming to please. I only began coming here because I had purchased an oil change package when I bought my car at an Autonation Toyota. The closest Autonation to me in Tucson was this location. From the get-go I have been unimpressed compared to other dealerships I have been to. When I first began coming here, I was pushed to get new brakes (when I knew I didn’t need them) and they acted as if It was very important do get my cabin air filter replaced at a ridiculous cost. I may be a woman, but I actually happen to have a reasonable knowledge about cars. I changed the air cabin filter myself, in less than 5 minutes and it cost me about $15. My service rep was never the most friendly, so they gave me a different one. This last time I went, I had yet a different one. I promise you, I am no “Karen”, I am as friendly as they get. But I know customer service and this place is not it. When I go to service departments at other dealerships, I am always greeted immediately and and treated exceptionally well. At my last visit here, I was wandering around inside trying to figure out who to talk to because no one would even acknowledge that I was there, and all the reps that were there were eating at their desks. This was at 3pm mind you. I am not opposed to people having a break at work, but I shouldn’t have to be confused and searching for help from someone eating their lunch when I have an appointment. not even an apology or explanation maybe that they were understaffed. I would maybe accept this if I had been previously getting better service from here in the first place. More
In the last 21 years, I’ve purchased four Hondas at Auto Nation in Tucson. Not only have all of the Civics been trouble-free, but the servicing has without exception been friendly, prompt, professional, and Nation in Tucson. Staff was courteous and respectful, but service took 3. 0hrs instead of the 1.5hrs they told me during the check-in. Appeared to me that they're suffering from short staffing like everybody else. The one thing I really didn't like was that if your service rep was not around, most of the other reps just ignore you. At other dealerships, if your rep is out for an extended time, they'll leave one of the other reps to cover for them. The ignoring game not only is back for business, but it shows a poor management and it looks just plain childish. More
