I have been going to AutoNation for 2 years now (after changing from another service provider). The past 6 months, it became increasingly difficult to schedule a simple oil change: the wait to get in was changing from another service provider). The past 6 months, it became increasingly difficult to schedule a simple oil change: the wait to get in was a week to 10 days. So, I changed my own oil on one vehicle, and took the other to an Express Service on my side of town. However, this week, I gave AutoNation another try. WOW! What a difference! I am not sure exactly how this happened (perhaps hiring more personnel!), but the service was back to being very good (although technicians had changed and prices are higher!). I guess they have my business back on, thank goodness…I really am getting too old to change my own oil & crawl under my cars!!! More

I came in for an oil change, get 2 brake pads replaced and a valve adjustment. The oil change was quick, and I was called after the oil was changed to get pricing on the brakes and valve adjustment. The brakes were a reasonable price with a $50 off coupon, so I got those done, but I was quoted almost $700 for a valve adjustment. I obviously didn’t have that done since the other shops in the area quoted me a little under $300 + quick google search shows that $200-$300 is pretty average - so I don’t really see how it’s $700 here.
