We were looking to purchase a new Honda CR-V. I contacted Dobbs Honda via their website to review their pricing. I quickly received an email back with pricing and information about the dealership. The email also directed me to ask for Rob Rhein when I visited the dealership. Rob asked Myron Nakonechny to show me the CR-V and to take a test drive. Myron's knowledge of the CR-V was outstanding and far above what I expected. I worked with Rob on the pricing and we came to a fair price on both the CR-V and the vehicle I was trading in. My experience at this dealership overall was outstanding. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and very accommodating. I was impressed with how quickly everything was handled and in less than a total of 2 hours at the dealership, I was driving our new CR-V home. Based on my positive experience I would recommend Dobbs Honda to others looking to purchase a Honda. More
On March 7, 2011, I purchased a new Honda from Dobbs Honda in Tucson. This is my second Honda leased from Dobbs and my dealership experience certainly exceeded expectations. The sales associate, Pet Honda in Tucson. This is my second Honda leased from Dobbs and my dealership experience certainly exceeded expectations. The sales associate, Peter Ta, was totally professional. Following the sale, Mr. Ta followed up with a telephone call and written letter to make sure I was satified with the sale. This is very unusual to have such follow-up after the deal is over. Most car dealers never have the time nor the professionalism to follow-up the way Dobbs demonstrated. I will use Dobbs Honda again. The experience my husband and I had at Dobbs was extremely pleasant. We already had the car picked out by shopping around on line at several dealers for a week. We found the car immediately and had to go FIND a salesman. Martin was very helpful in telling us about the history of the car and was very informative. We test drove it and while we were driving, we got to know each other and he was very friendly and personable. He answered all my questions about the safety features. We told him we wanted it and while they were finding us financing, he came out every 5 minutes to let us know what was going on and just to talk. It only took about 35-40 minutes. Then we went to the finance guy and that only took about 45 minutes. Don't remember his name but he also was very friendly and personable. He tried very hard to get our car payment to where we told him when we first walked in. There were no hard sales pitches by anyone. We didn't feel pressured at any time. We actually put less down than we expected. They cleaned and buffed the car for us and filled up the gas tank. It was beautiful. Overall the experience was extremely pleasant and it felt like I did business with someone in my family!! I can't remember ever buying a car being so pleasant and fast. I would recommend them highly. I have owned Hondas for 14 years. I came back to Dobbs to buy my second Honda because the service department is so terrific. I have never had anything but good experiences with the people there. Untrustworthy how do they intend to keep return customers seems impossible Pros: none Cons: Untrustworthy workers Once their service rep. and mechanic lied to me they lost a return customer. You would think a business this large would try to hold onto customers who are trying to be loyal to them. Instead they lie about unnecessary repairs and put the fear in you that if you don't fix it today your car may fall apart as you drive out. Well stand firm loyal customers! Leave and get a second or third opinion from another Honda mechanic or any other mechanic before you let Dobbs Honda do the work. I did and I was told the work Dobbs was saying I needed was not needed, there was nothing wrong with my car. It is a shame that customers have to do this. If they would just be honest just think of all the customers they would have. I will not be returning to them. More
These people are very rude, especially the Courtesy Carriers who all make you feel like a worthless leech for using the courtesy ride. The sales rep did not fully outline the bill and did not mention all costs until the very end, throwing in several services like an over priced battery and belt replacements, not to mention hidden labor costs, without telling me. Then, the car was said to be running better and actually still runs the same! To top it off, when paying, the cashier was very rude and demeaning. Overall, I'm very unhappy with the service and frankly feel taken. Like the other reviewer, I was forced to pay for services that I did not want, holding my car after doing work I did not confirm, stating that without completed payment, the car cannot be taken. I'll never go to Dobbs Honda again and hope others will read the buyer beware reviews before stepping foot there. If you just need a part, great, use them. For servicing your car, save some cash and grief and go somewhere else. The smaller businesses need the help right now anyways. Let lousy corporate trash like this fail. More
