My service experience w/ John Beeman was tremendous, a five star-service. Recommended me that my requested service (air conditioner compressor) was under recall and recommended me to wait for service unt five star-service. If I could give a rating zero believe me I would. My appointment was on September 23rd at 8am for a A17 maintenance and to check the shaft seal. I set my appointment that early before I was hoping to get out there at a reasonable time and still have a portion of my Saturday left to get other things done. I got there 5 minutes in advance, I waited 15 minutes before Desiree came to ask what needed to be done on the vehicle, unfortunately she was the one assigned to my case. While I was waiting for her, a car came for service and the service advisor dashed out to take care of the vehicle behind. I was still waiting for Desiree who apparently ignored me to go through the mechanic shop floor where she disappeared. Once back, she apologized for her tardiness and we went inside to process my case. I asked her what's the typical time this service would take she said 2-2.5 hours for A17 and an extra 40 minutes, so I left to do some shopping with my wife and came back at 11am. At 11:30am I went to ask for update on my vehicle they were still working on it. I told her if the vehicle would be ready soon or should we go for lunch. She mentioned there are about 20 minutes of work needed to be done including the shaft seal which needed to be replaced. So, I went for lunch and came back at 12:30pm I was shocked they were not done with my vehicle, my vehicle was sitting on the hydraulic stand and no-one was working on it. I went to her to ask about the status on my vehicle then I realized she did not give the go-ahead to the car mechanic to replace the shaft seal. She made a phone call to check how many shaft seal were in stock, there was 40. Then, she called the mechanic and asked to replace the seal. I left there at 1:45pm. Yes almost 6 hours!!, this is the first time I received this level of poor quality service at AutoNation Honda Auto Mall, lots of this could have been avoided if she was more proactive. The story with her does not end here, a few days later my air-con stopped working my wife took the vehicle for check-up, I thought the shaft seal failed apparently it was the blow motor that needed to be replaced. She said they have to check for warranty, the next day she called us to tell us the warranty was approved to schedule an appointment, we missed her call but we called her back several times and I even left messages but no response. When my wife went there today, she apologized and said she never got a voicemail from us to schedule an appointment. To make up for the inconvenience on the day of the maintenance, she gave us a discount on the services, but it didn't make up for all the troubles we got. I hope this is a one off also please give her some proper trainings. From what I observed, she spends more time interacting with the mechanics on shop floor and vaping than taking care of the customers. Normally after maintenance, we ask for a vacuum and a car wash, since we were running late that day, she gave us a coupon for Mister Wash to get a car wash, but unfortunately, my wife got the unpleasant surprise of being refused that service since it seems that the coupon were expired or there was an issue with it. More
