My Mom and I went to AutoNation Honda in Sanford to check out some cars. A friendly staff member greeted me, and I asked if I could test drive a Honda Civic LX. A staff member, Gustavo Niemes, was happy to help. He showed me all the 2024 and 2025 Honda Civic models, from the base model to the high-end model. One of them really caught my eye. I asked Gustavo if I could take it for a drive, and he readily agreed. "This looks pretty awesome!" I thought to myself. It was a 2024 Honda Civic Sport, and it looked fantastic. Gustavo came back shortly after and went over the car's features, explaining everything in detail. Then, I got to drive it. The car handled very easily and smoothly; it drove like a dream. After the test drive, we headed back to the dealership. Mr. Niemes asked how I liked the car, and I told him I loved it. We sat down in his office and discussed some things, including trading in my current vehicle. I was able to get a good deal on the trade-in thanks to Mr. Niemes and his boss. Both of them were very professional and courteous. Mr. Niemes then helped me with the paperwork. Afterward, I went to the Honda finance department to finalize everything. Mr. Santos assisted me with the financing. I got a good deal based on my credit, and Mr. Santos patiently explained everything to me. I had to sign a lot of documents, but Mr. Niemes was in the meantime getting my new car ready. Throughout the entire process, my mom was a trooper and stuck with me the whole time. I have been dealing with this Honda dealership for over 22 years. Up until recently I have been very happy with customer service and the service department. My advisor has been Travis and he has been beyon 22 years. Up until recently I have been very happy with customer service and the service department. My advisor has been Travis and he has been beyond excellent, always truly concerned with the customers satisfaction. Unfortunately over the last year it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to answer a phone whether I'm calling the operator or the service department. Travis has provided me with his personal cell phone number. Does Honda not care about this situation which is why I gave a not very good overall rating of this dealership. A service advisor should not have to provide his personal cell to customers in order to reach them. Travis and the work performed are ranked very very high but Honda needs to improve the phone situation for customers. More

This dealership was recently burdened with a terrible “hack for ransom” which created havoc for the company, employees and clients!!!! They have worked very hard to maintain service to ALL! It is very hard for our American companies to compete with these hackers and creators of chaos….Billions of $ lost due to these foreign bad actors.
